volumptuoussays...I thought this was pretty weak. Their previous work uses the buildings so much more than this one. I'm guessing this is mostly due to executive committees telling the video crew what to do. It's also possible the actual building is really undynamic and didn't lend itself to the nature of their work.
Still pretty decent tho. And worth the upvote.
choggiesays...V, the weakness is in the 2-d presentation mate-Simply does not do justice to scale, sound, etc. as with any form of multimedia designed to alter a state of consciousness. Dig, not saying you shouldn't keep yer personal bar set as high as possible-I am surprised (not really though) more users would not vote this up but hey, most folks here would rather watch TV news posts or see people fucking themselves up....
volumptuoussays...It's not about the 2D for me whatsoever.
It's the fact that their actual projection surface is so boring dynamically that they had not so much to play/fuck with.
If you watch any of their previous work, not only is it far superior in surreal art direction, but it's also using the structure of the building, pillars, windows, ledges, etc. And is also the main point of how amazing their artwork is.
I just thought that this presentation of theirs isn't nearly as awesome as all their previous efforts were.
