A Conversation With Jon Stewart (Charlie Rose)

This originally aired September of 2004. A conversation with Jon Stewart, Emmy Award-winning writer and host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, about his book "America the Book: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction". I own this book, and it is scathingly funny good stuff.

I like that the whole point in his disdain for the way the media works now is, that he wants networks, anchors and so on to not show their own opinion or only show peoples opinions, but rather be committed to the truth of the matter - when a person says something on TV, they should be held accountable and if it is simply not true, they must be called on it.

Journalism is (or at least should be) about finding the truth. All else is filler.
