Conversation/love scene from "Out of Sight"

US Marshall Karen Sisco (Jennifer Lopez) takes a break from chasing bank robber Jack Foley (George Clooney) to act on their mutual flirtations, introducing themselves as "Gary" and "Celeste".

"Out of Sight" returned Steven Soderbergh (Sex, Lies, and Videotape) to prominence and started a friendship with Clooney that would lead to them co-founding a production company together. They collaborated again on "Ocean's Eleven" and its sequels, and the remake of the sci-fi classic, "Solaris".

Soderbergh admits to nakedly stealing the intercutting of the conversation and the love scene from "Don't Look Back", with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. The "snow" and fake backgrounds behind the actors ended up being distracting when viewed in the editing room, but the scenes with Clooney and Lopez were so good, the backgrounds were altered with computer graphics rather than going back to reshoot the scenes.

Having also read the book, their conversation is very close to the same scene in the Elmore Leonard novel. (If it isn't obvious yet, this is one of my all-time favorite movies and scenes.)
