It's a motherfucking Roast, bitches and gentlemen! (Wtf Talk Post)

It must be difficult to smear such a likable guy. Someone, get turdgurgler a shot of bourbon! Where has that snowflake been, anyways. That motel rendezvous on the Rio Grande with blankfist must have been a bad idea. I'd expect a Nebraska map with a bulls-eye on it if this place wasn't so overrun by pussy-whipped liberals. What were you expecting, a bunch of IT guys drinking soda pop, playing World of Warcraft, and watching the Daily Show while they wait for their parents to go to bed is not funny. It's pathetic.

Zero Punctuation: Top 5 of 2010

It wasn't much of a year for gaming. Games I enjoyed: Settlers 7, Fallout: New Vegas, and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. I think that might be it. That sucks.

Most-anticipated game award goes to Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Yeah... I'm leaving the USA. But the World of Warcraft relevance is that since our emails and instant messages are being sifted through, suspects find alternate ways of communications... such as video games.

Game Trailers World of Warcraft "Cataclysm" Review

braindonut says...

While playing the new content, my wife said to me "I can't believe I even played this game before." That's how good the new content is.

I have to admit, I look back at the original game, and I wonder the same thing.

Its amazing how much hard work people put themselves through to play WoW.
I've tried it multiple times on various trials and offers and each time I burn out somewhere in the mid20s. Leveling just isn't fun, too much of that game seems boring and repetitive. It frustrates me that they go to so much effort to great such a amazing vast world but then fail to make the gameplay or leveling etc at all engaging. And then they ask you to pay for it.
To enjoy SC2 I think you really have to enjoy playing games competitively. Its nowhere near the vastness of WoW and it just doesn't offer the same escapism, but the adrenaline rush I get from winning SC2 games is really beyond compare. I haven't even completed the campaign, the only progression I care about is ladder ranking.
Different games for different gamers I guess. Got fingers crossed for Guild Wars 2 though.

You must have missed this bit in the v4.2 announcement: "Whenever a video is submitted or edited, the length is determined by siftbot automatically whenever possible. For videos or video hosts that don't provide the video length, submitters can specify the length on the submit/edit form."

Ah, I missed that part. I didn't read everything. Thanks!

Uh, isn't that supposed to be automatic?

My problem is no time to play.

The Rise of Something New (Blog Entry by dag)

Google Maps isn't going to build roads. Amazon.com will not house original documents. World of Warcraft will not provide for the common defense. Foodnetwork.com will not inspect meat processing plants. Drugs.com will not order unsafe drugs off the market. Quizlaw will not be your defense attorney.

Maybe some day some of the above-mentioned services (and others not mentioned) will be provided by the webosphere, but don't hold your breath. Ones and zeros are not the same as boots on the ground.

I'm a firm believer that the number one purpose of power is to preserve itself. I don't agree with the sentiment, but I believe it's true all the same. Governments may privatize some of their functions, but they will not go gentle into that good night. There will be no cyber-velvet revolution. There will just be the good old-fashioned revolution. Period. With guns, blood, and fields where a thousand corpses lie.

Why do something peacefully when you can kill by the millions?

Hmm, not sure what's so amazing about this - captioned characters that match the lyrics?
Actually this is my first good look at WoW and I have to say - is that it? Looks like a slightly better PS2 game. I guess the grinding must be super addictive.

On the other hand if in the 1 in a million chance it works and works well then that would be really cooly.

Iv tried almost ever MMO that has came out, World of Warcraft being the only one that has replay value to it IMO. But your 100% right more then likely this is going to be a BIG piece of shit, But i still keep high hopes because i want a change of scenery so badly.
