Insane Low-Tier Starcraft Game
The goal of the commentators is that their own viewers/ordinary players submit their matches to be commentated, as opposed to commentating high level/pro matches. They do this as a way to teach ordinary players how to improve their game and to understand what they are doing wrong, while at the same time providing a humorous commentary. I don't play Starcraft 2, nor am I ever likely to (I prefer other RTSs). However, I feel confident that I'd do half decently just from what I've learned while watching this channel.
In any case, this is in no way a parody, nor does it belong in the terrible channel. I probably can't do this, but:

FYI: It's a match between two complete noobs and it's funny because these asshats are doing commentary over it, as if it were a match between two seasoned players. It's sort of like watching a bum fight or two mentally challenged kids brawling, and you can't help but see where it goes -- which was absolutely hilarious and awesome. Just a heads up to those that are not so SC2 savvy. It would be hilarious even without the commentary, and I almost wonder if it's fake.

I normally find these guys pretty annoying, like they are trying too hard to be hohohilarious, but this was a good one. I think my favorite is still the one where Protoss proxy gates inside a Terrans base, the Terran walls off his ramp as normal, and then simply floats his CC to the natural, effectively walling off the Proxy inside his own main.
I don't normally follow these, do you have a link to that replay?

I kind of hate Canadian accents...
It makes me rage, and I kind of want to pulverize a baby.
IT'S PRONOUNCED "OUT," NOT "OOHT!" rolleyes
-edit-
Oh, and I've never played this game (not a big rts fan), but that was pretty entertaining, minus the "ooht"s and "aboot"s ....
What blows me away is the navel-gazing worldview Americans have. They have different accents in every other State (sometimes 3 or more), and yet think all Canadians have the same accent.
And yes, Every Single American thinks that way. I know. I watch Fox.

You can say the same thing about most sports. I enjoy soccer, for instance, with either two relatively medium team better than two extremely good teams, just because with the good teams, they can't "play" and have to be really fault-free, or they lose.

This is what matches need to be like, screw all the precision micro management, I want to see herds of ultralisks going crazy on shit.
Agreed, I think 2 not so great players making a bunch of mistakes and still turning out an entertaining game is better than that whole precision "zomg, he got his wall down .3 seconds too late so he's conceded" bs that the top end players get up to... =\

Careful you don't fall off the ruff and into the crick.

Not really a fan of the commentary, but pretty much anything Starcraft related is an upvote from me.
Fail costs MMA game but Idra fails harder
>> ^handmethekeysyou:
I felt the same thing. But instead of "old" I thought "too mature".
Bring on the downvotes.>> ^spoco2:
Fuck me, I must be getting old...
MMA?
EG?
winners bracket of MLG columbus?
Gold 3rd exansion on Iccup Testbug MMA?
WTF are you talking about?
If immature is being passionate about something then I guess I'm immature... Ok, Starcraft is a videogame, but then Chess is a boardgame and I doubt you'd accuse them of being immature.
To be fair though, Idra little stunt is hardly the best argument for maturity in gaming
On civility, name calling and the Sift (Fear Talk Post)
You got hobbling right? We shall hobbit people.
But there's the risk of one or both parties crying foul. There's also the risk of moderator mis-use Reddit style.
See the creation of /r/trees, and the close destruction of /r/starcraft.
Not saying you don't have to do something, but you'll never get away from the drama. You just replace one sort of drama with another sort of drama. Which one is worse?
Granted moderator misuse would probably happen less often then comment abuse, it would have much more impact on the community as a whole, as tyranny always does. So in a way transferring the responsibility to the user base is going to gut you're workload, in a good way and insure that the comments get a good seeing too, but the problems that arise have a chance to blow up into a community rupturing event.
What I mean to say, is that what starts out as a way to control asshat comments can turn into a way for users with a vendetta to destroy those they don't agree with, or those they don't "like".
The worst kind of tyranny is the kind where the rules creep. Rules are laid down in good interest and then are enforced differently than they were written. Kinda like Feature Creep but worse.
Eh, but I'm pretty indifferent to what the community decides mostly because I treat the internet as I would my cat. I feed it, I pet it, and I love it, but at the end of the day I just let it do whatever the fuck it wants to do.
PS: I haven't got anytime to edit my comment for spelling and grammar. If I derped it up, then herp derp.

@ Psychologic I didn't actually want an explanation, it was more that the description is gobbledegook to anyone not involved with StarCraft or online gaming like that.
And soccer clips have "gobbledegook" descriptions to anyone who doesn't follow footy. And hocky vids, and cricket vids, etc., etc.
Judging by the comments and upvotes, there are plenty here who follow gaming competitions.
