Man, I really wish I knew this one wasn't up yet. This is one of my top 3 favorite fred and sharon spencer videos. Along with the christmas card and their tribute to students and troops. In fact I think I'm going to go look for those.

Oh man, I forgot that the late John Spencer was in this game/movie. WC4 doesn't work in XP (for me).

Yeah, it had quite the cast and really quite nice production values all round.

As for it running, yeah I remember that last time I tried it in XP it wouldn't work, but I would like to give it another go, if only I can track down that elusive DVD...

Upvote for Spencer... My wife and I took part in the Melbourne, Australia one (the one with all the bums in the air in the park), which at the time was the largest number of people to ever have posed for him (since beaten).

We got there before sunrise, and it was raining, and cold, but we all nudied up and lay in puddles of water on the road and then in the park and by our mighty Yarra river.

It was a great experience, people stopped noticing the nakedness after a while and everyone felt so free. A cyclist riding through the park at the time was encouraged to nudy up... and he did, joined in the fun, was great, recommend it to anyone.

I do agree that some of them can look like large numbers of bodies, and unfortunately the print that we received for being a part of it was the one on the road that did have that feel to it, rather than the bum in the air one that is obviously not dead bodies.

Still, great stuff, love his work.

the Thomas Malthus and Herbert Spencer connection to social eugenics, that some of the more delusional and power-hungry members of the planet's population have embraced to justify their world views and agendas....

Don't you all just love how giddy atheists become, not unlike the more zealous practitioners of other, fundamentalist faiths??

Show me the members of atheist groups like this anywhere, and I'll show you some fundamentally, miserable motherfuckers...
The comments on this thread reek of the same emotional arrogance which any fundie exhibits. Wrapping your head around tomes of data is not unlike doing the same with chapter and verse, didactically picking it apart, and referencing it ad-nauseum, for the sake of schoolyard one-upmanship or one's own justification for confusion and doubt.

(I thought we'd grabbed all atheists by the hair and dangled them over a precipice already..)

My antagonism is based on the fact that I am tired of people making intelligent comments and then ruining it by naming calling... It was just frustration.

However, I maintain that sheeple is not a word(See red squiggly). Other words could have expressed your viewpoint equally as well, and not, in my opinion, trivialized you comment.

This is his paper, which is widely regarded as one of the very few(if not the only) papers which presents data that suggests the globe is not warming.

SPENCER RW, CHRISTY JR
PRECISE MONITORING OF GLOBAL TEMPERATURE TRENDS FROM SATELLITES
SCIENCE 247 (4950): 1558-1562 MAR 30 1990

It was followed by a subsequent paper, which calls into question his conclusions and analysis. I can get that reference for you as well.

And actually there was another paper in Science

LETTERS
Consensus About Climate Change?
Roger A. Pielke, Jr.; and Naomi Oreskes (13 May 2005)
Science 308 (5724), 952. [DOI: 10.1126/science.308.5724.952]

which reiterates my comment. There has been absolutely NO peer reviewed published data showing that the globe is not warming(which has not been subsequently called into question or repealed). In most cases, I would never say anything so unequivocable, but what I have said is true. Or at least was true the last time I checked the literature. If you can find a citation which shows data that the globe is not warming, I would love to see it.

I see that you agree, that the globe is warming. I would still argue that the at least 75% of the published data suggests that the cause is anthropagenic. [Roger A. Pielke, Jr.; and Naomi Oreskes, Science 308 (5724), 952]

John Stossel does a segment on Global Warmin

MycroftHomlz says...

The debate is over whether or not the globe is warming. John Stossel neglected to report that despite winning that prize for his paper with Spencer, John Christy's analysis was called into question and a subsequent article was published by a different group which came to the opposite conclusion.

Now, onto the consensus.

In a paper in Science recently, almost a 1000 papers were looked at for the last 15 years, absolutely none contradicted the thesis that the globe was warming. And 75% supported the claim that the cause was anthropagenic.

These four scientist are very well known for their opinion, because they are probably the only four who have it.

Here was the line up for the album "Then Play On."

Fleetwood Mac

* Peter Green - vocals, guitar, harmonica
* Danny Kirwan - vocals, guitar
* John McVie - bass
* Mick Fleetwood - drums
* Jeremy Spencer - piano on "Oh Well" {Pt 2}

Additional Personnel

* Christine Perfect - piano (uncredited)
* Big Walter Horton - harmonica (uncredited)

Mick Fleetwood was the only member to survive every lineup change of the band. You might find this from Wikipedia interesting:

Peter Green was absolutely phenomenal. He wrote and played great stuff.

This guy Robert Spencer, who clearly isn't a great public explicator, couldn't have chosen a worse way to exercise his meager talents. I hope that the Sex Pistols spit on him in Hell.

(p.s. - you might want to pick up a physics book to refute me, factually - preferably one on AT LEAST Newtonian physics, but if you'd like, I can prove my claims as far as structural engineering and design, so you might want to pick up a couple of books on those as well. Heck, I recommend you start with G. Spencer Brown's Laws of Form and read from there to the whitepapers released by Andrew M. Steane.)
