, MAGA Shaman and the other treasonous idiots, and the morons you post talking about them are your boys, you gullible fool. (Why do you always capitalize the word tool…because it’s your identity?).
😂 You don’t think I’m actually wasting my time watching your idiotic propaganda trolls troll for their home studios, do you? You don’t think I’m gullible enough to believe their conveniently edited sound clips represent reality, do you?
I don’t trust a word a MAGgot says, and it’s never been a mistake to not trust you.
Silly boy. 😂

As far as damage to the nation, Jan 6 was worse. 9/11 brought us together, unfortunately our Republican leader took advantage of that and lied and took us to war with the country that tried to kill his daddy, not the Saudis that attacked our country. The exact same Saudis that Trump now cozies up to and sells classified top secrets to for billions in bribes to his son in law/daughter and rents his properties to at 10 times market value, often renting entire floors for months with no occupants, but no, it’s not a bribe, nooooo. Attacking the wrong people brought us apart again.

Remember, republicans voted to forget 9/11 and its victims, defunding the funds that support and care for them. Jon Stewart shamed them out of their defund 9/11 funds plans. They sure think Jan 6 is more important.

Obama taking out the Saudi leader of the Saudi terrorist organization brought us back together temporarily.

The Jan 6 insurrection and failed coup attempt by a terroristic political party nearly ended America, and has divided the country to near civil war since. Internal terrorist enemies are far more dangerous than foreign powers.

More people died in 9/11. The MAGA response to Covid proved American deaths don’t bother you one whit, completely ignoring the 500000-750000 deaths caused directly by Trump’s lack of policy or support for sane public health measures (turns out he went anti mask after trying one once but it smeared his clown makeup badly and he refused to ever wear one again!).
More damage was done to the union on Jan 6. Well over $500000000 in direct costs for Jan 6 too….before investigations, prosecutions, and incarceration, so make that $750000000 and the continuing possibility of dissolving the Union before it’s done.

Note- I addressed every nonsensical accusation you made. You failed to address any I made against you and instead just whined and rage posted unrelated nonsense. This is typical.

End of an era: signing off final Mercedes-Benz V8 F1 engine

End of an era: signing off final Mercedes-Benz V8 F1 engine

The V6 turbo is intended to develop technology that's more applicable to road cars, rather than the previous F1 approach of just spinning the engines faster and making the components thinner and lighter. They are also introducing much more restrictive fuel economy measures (via mandated maximum flow rate to the engine rather than the current limit of as much as you can carry at the start of the race). Also, as the video mentioned, the energy recovery system is going to be more integrated next season.

The new engines specs sound, superficially at least, similar to Indy car engines... I wonder if they will be close enough to allow any crossover?

The first clips of the new engines being fired up have already started to show up on yt:

Sorry in advance for the hate-filled pose, but:

Dooooohhh...

Fuck Radiolab. This piece shit construct of modern media ruins otherwise intelligent radio. Apparently the "ADHD" generation has become so much the norm that we can no longer listen to an entire sentence, so they cut every micro-thought up with hosts speaking over one another constantly.

You will never hear an interview on this "show". You will hear a topic, and few seconds of clips by some people who are remotely associated with the story, while these attention-whores decide to constantly, constantly, cut off the sound clip and proceed to, not even just tell you what the person was going to say, but they'll cut right in mid-sentence and guess what the person was going to say, and then have their little not-for-resale mini-quips interrupting each other back and forth while they try to form a coherent thought.

Evidently their audience lacks the patience to hear one speaker say more than 5 words in a row, and is incapable of forming their own thoughts based off of someone from the source of the topic, so they'll intentionally stumble around their "presentation" to help you form what to think.

And you know I loath to use general labeling, but they are to the liberal media, what fox is to the conservative. Fuck these people to a bloody, messy, death.

I wonder if they realize how they sound when it gets played on television. If anything you made his job easier as a journalist. When he says: When confronted about accusations to links with white supremacists, his response was: (plays talking points roll.) He didn't want to talk about it.

I dunno, it just seems silly, answer the question. It is a good one. If he's trolling for a sound clip then call him on that.

*mute would be a good invocaton for no sound clip, and I´d make it a category like brief, not a channel.

There is actually one more thing I´d like to see:
It would be sweet if the headlines of the sidebar content were clickable!

That way clicking on "Newest SiftTalk Posts" would bring you to Sift Talk, clicking on "Top rated Comments" to the recent comments page sorted by highest rating, Top 15 Sifters of All Time to the Member Rankings and so on.

I am no expert, but this seems easy to implement and I feel it would have a positive effect on usability.

Reporters On Their Own Failures As Journos

bcglorf says...

Well, I'm going to go ahead and get down voted, but I'm just stubborn that way it seems.

The main stream media's epic failure is not adequately covered in this sound bite. The summary at the end talks about the 'truth' finally coming out. All the media hacks talking points all discuss their failure in coverage in the past tense, as though they've corrected themselves. That simply isn't true. The media is still failing as badly as ever at covering anything related to either the Iraq or Afghanistan wars.

So far I'm safe and think we are agreed. I would attest though that the media has not only failed by being too ignorant and lazy in looking at America's policies, statements and decisions. They are also failing just as badly at presenting the situation of the people in Iraq under Saddam's rule. They are failing just as badly at covering any number of human catastrophes happening around the world. Al Jazeera just recently was the only major outlet to cover the revelation from escaped North Korean elite guards that the North's well known program for testing chemical weapons on humans is not limited to adults, but includes testing on children as well. Note the current tense, it means even today there are children somewhere in North Korea in a glass gas chamber being killed with nerve gas while a 'scientist' times how long it takes them to die. Meanwhile CNN can't be torn away from the latest on MJ's funeral plans to bother mentioning anything amiss abroad.

There is a very uncomfortably gray world out there that the mainstream media just can't be bothered to cover because the public can't be bothered to watch. This sound clip looks like it is not so much addressing the problem of bad media coverage, but trying to pretend that the bad media coverage proves that the war in Iraq was evil incarnate. It looks to me like instead of digging deeper to reveal the complexity of the world, it is instead just trying foist an alternative easy answer and simple explanation. In reality, it just proves that the war, good or bad, was covered miserably by the media, and in fact still is being covered miserably by them. To me that makes the media the absolute worst source to base any good/bad decision on.

What's worse, to me a 'documentary' peddling a different set of easy answers and simple explanations is just another part of the bigger problem. That problem being that people are uncomfortable with a complicated world that doesn't have clear cut good or bad solutions. That means people often prefer simple or easy answers to the truth when the truth makes them uncomfortable.
