Black Students Catch Hell in UC San Diego

choggie says...

Diversion Summary

Media: Keep the adult public attention diverted away from the real social issues, and captivated by matters of no real importance.

Schools: Keep the young public ignorant of real mathematics, real economics, real law, and real history.

Entertainment: Keep the public entertainment below a sixth-grade level.

Work: Keep the public busy, busy, busy, with no time to think; back on the farm with the other animals.

^MMM^^^
California: Issue a statement from a Nazi-Legacy Governor expressing quote, “intolerable acts of racism and incivility”-Let the issue become a National News event which sparks endless editorializing and attention-
(Use the event to reinforce revisionist tactics on campus, discuss legal ramifications of new laws such as"Hate Crimes")

Keep those sixth-grade-level university students satisfied with any outcome from the affair, use it to re-ignite any racial tensions available to further destabilize the social fabric, maintaining diversion-always create the problem, and provide a predictable and legal/lawful solution.

Remind these apes of every creed and color of their place-busy, busy, busy.....the puppet governments will work ceaselessly to provide laws against all forms of protest in future.....

"Indians are the new Jews"

kymbos says...

Title for this should read "Frustratingly compared almost-debate about racism towards Indians".

I'm fascinated by the topic, however. As an Australian living in Melbourne, I know this city to be the most inviting and open capital in Australia. Why there has been this violence towards Indians recently is beyond me, as there is very little racial tension overall here.

The only thing I have against Indians is that they don't like Test Cricket enough. They could be the saviours of test cricket, but instead undermine it with 20/20 silliness for children with small attention spans. Oh the humanity!

Obama Addresses NAACP: Discrimination still exists

throckmorton says...

Why can't people like this just let such an ugly thing as Racism die? Why do they always get away with their fear-mongering? If the propaganda machine can make Obama look like he is actually qualified to be our President in three short years of campaigning and with no experience other than the campaign itself and the backing of Leftist News Papers and TV News spots then why can't it just as easily tell us that Racial Prejudice is totally gone from American Culture? Just think of it. It is actually gone, but in just three short years it will be actually gone because the News said it was so! Think about it for a minute.

The Democrats are perpetuating this lie for us right now that it is some great big thing getting in the way of freedom or justice every where you look. They and the Leeches who make a living on it such as Faraqakan, Sharpton, Jackson and Obama (and his Church Pals) thrive on the lies and perpetuate it wherever and whenever they can. The Republicans don't have anything against minorities either in speech, writings or actions. Democrats tell minorities how shitty their lives are and how badly they are treated even when they themselves know it isn't so. Republicans tell minorities how much better their lives COULD BE!

Stop listening to the haters or Democrats as I like to call them and your life will be so much happier. Want to end Racial Tensions in America and I mean TODAY! Stop doing it! That's right, just stop it. Cut it out. Quit it. Shut the F*** up about it. Let it go. Don't be thin skinned about every attempt someone else has towards humor.
Taking turns at injustice won't work. Don't contribute to any politician who says they will make your life better by giving you something you know you didn't work for or deserve. Democrats have promised everything for as long as there have been Democrats and so far they have delivered nothing except higher taxes and bad feelings.
Don't believe me? Look around right now. Still not convinced, read about it in your History books.

Why are so many Democrats Lawyers? So they can pull the wool over your eyes and you will thank them for the Blanket. I like this better: Where do Vampires learn to suck Blood? AT LAW SCHOOL!

The Daily Show - The Stockholm Syndrome part 2

Asmo says...

>> ^jerryku:
I think the US could have socialism but it would probably have to bring back segregation or do mass deportations of non-whites. It seems like only homogenous nations can bring about the system and like it.

Britain and Australia are both leftward leaning democratic socialist nations.

We both have healthy diversity in race/creed/colour.

You put a significant number of blacks and whites together, and the two sides are going to move to polar opposites on the political spectrum.

Which is inherent because people still see in colour rather than just another fellow human being.

And I'm not saying that it's perfect in the UK or Aus, we have our racial tensions as well, just noting that a melted pot is not an excuse not to socialism... =)

/Do the socialism baby!!

BART Police shooting in Oakland -- KTVU Report

Trancecoach says...

Here's the Washington Post's coverage of the incident (and the youtube reverberations).

Oh, and by the way.. Here's ANOTHER shooting, which took place in Texas last week.

Could this be an Obama backlash? Racial tensions coming out on the police force? If this keeps up, people are going to beg for the nightstick like Rodney King got. At least King survived!

In the future, suspects are gonna say, "Just tase me, bro!"

McCain finally doing the right thing.

Obama is Stoking Racial Antagonism
by Rush Limbaugh

I understand the rough and tumble of politics. But Barack Obama -- the supposedly postpartisan, postracial candidate of hope and change -- has gone where few modern candidates have gone before.

Mr. Obama's campaign is now trafficking in prejudice of its own making. And in doing so, it is playing with political dynamite. What kind of potential president would let his campaign knowingly extract two incomplete, out-of-context lines from two radio parodies and build a framework of hate around them in order to exploit racial tensions? The segregationists of the 1950s and 1960s were famous for such vile fear-mongering.

Here's the relevant part of the Spanish-language television commercial Mr. Obama is running in Hispanic communities:

"They want us to forget the insults we've put up with . . . the intolerance . . . they made us feel marginalized in this country we love so much."

Then the commercial flashes two quotes from me: ". . . stupid and unskilled Mexicans" and "You shut your mouth or you get out!"

And then a voice says, "John McCain and his Republican friends have two faces. One that says lies just to get our vote . . . and another, even worse, that continues the policies of George Bush that put special interests ahead of working families. John McCain . . . more of the same old Republican tricks."

Much of the media that is uninterested in Mr. Obama's connections to unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright have so far gone along with the attempt to tie me to Mr. McCain. But Mr. McCain and I have not agreed on how to address illegal immigration. While I am heartened by his willingness to start by securing the borders, it is no secret that we have fundamental differences on illegal immigration.

And more to the point, these sound bites are a deception, and Mr. Obama knows it. The first sound bite was extracted from a 1993 humorous monologue poking fun at the arguments against the North American Free Trade Agreement. Here's the context:

"If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine 'cause those are the kinds of jobs Nafta is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do -- let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work."

My point, which is obvious, was that the people who were criticizing Nafta were demeaning workers, particularly low-skilled workers. I was criticizing the mind-set of the protectionists who opposed the treaty. There was no racial connotation to it and no one thought there was at the time. I was demeaning the arguments of the opponents.

As for the second sound bite, I was mocking the Mexican government's double standard -- i.e., urging open borders in this country while imposing draconian immigration requirements within its own borders. Thus, I took the restrictions Mexico imposes on immigrants and appropriated them as my own suggestions for a new immigration law.

Here's the context for that sound bite: "And another thing: You don't have the right to protest. You're allowed no demonstrations, no foreign flag waving, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies. You're a foreigner: shut your mouth or get out! And if you come here illegally, you're going to jail."

At the time, I made abundantly clear that this was a parody on the Mexican government's hypocrisy and nobody took it otherwise.

The malignant aspect of this is that Mr. Obama and his advisers know exactly what they are doing. They had to listen to both monologues or read the transcripts. They then had to pick the particular excerpts they used in order to create a commercial of distortions. Their hoped-for result is to inflame racial tensions. In doing this, Mr. Obama and his advisers have demonstrated a pernicious contempt for American society.

We've made much racial progress in this country. Any candidate who employs the tactics of the old segregationists is unworthy of the presidency.

Hemp: history and usefulness as a sustainable alternative

millertime1211 says...

In the 1920's the Du Pont company developed and patented fuel additives such as tetraethyl lead, as well as the sulfate and sulfite processes for manufacture of pulp paper and numerous new synthetic products such as nylon, cellophane, and other plastics. At the same time other companies were developing synthetic products from renewable biomass resources--especially hemp. The hemp decorticator promised to eliminate much of the need for wood-pulp paper, thus threatening to drastically reduce the value of the vast timberlands still owned by Hearst. Ford and other companies were already promising to make every product from cannabis carbohydrates that was currently currently being made from petroleum hydrocarbons. In response, from 1935 to 1937, Du Pont lobbied the chief counsel of the Treasury Department, Herman Oliphant, for the prohibition of cannabis, assuring him that Du Pont's synthetic petrochemicals (such as urethane) could replace hemp seed oil in the marketplace.

William Randolf Hearst hated minorities, and he used his chain of newspapers to aggravate racial tensions at every opportunity. Hearst especially hated Mexicans. Hearst papers portrayed Mexicans as lazy, degenerate, and violent, and as marijuana smokers and job stealers. The real motive behind this prejudice may well have been that Hearst had lost 800,000 acres of prime timberland to the rebel Pancho Villa, suggesting that Hearst's racism was fueled by Mexican threat to his empire.

Just another FYI:
Peter Bensinger is a former head of the DEA. He and his partner Robert DuPont (former Director of NIDA) created Bensinger, DuPont & Associates, which profits from selling drug war related consulting and testing services.
