Sooo...what's the punchline?

I don't get it.

I kept waiting for the punchline. I thought this was some parody. Very cool idea. *sexuality *femme *engineering

Semi-boring lead up to a great, unexpected punchline. I thought it was going to be a message like "If you can enjoy fresh air outside, what are you doing inside?"

I don't... yet.

I've made about a dozen shorts over the years, though this is definitely my most technically ambitious. I think I'm about ready to graduate to features, but of course, easier said than done.

As for the punchline, it's pretty much what it seems like -- they act like a loving couple to the outside world, but in reality they hate each other. Even when he's saying something nice to her, all she can think about is murdering him.

If I could change one major thing I'd probably make the ending a bit bigger, as it does feel a bit low-key compared to the rest of the film, and a bit anti-climactic. Oh well.

That was extremely well done, @Sarzy. Do you make films professionally?

I didn't really get the punchline, but the rest of it had me LMFAHS in stitches. (I loved the realistic abdomen skin as it was cut open. :-p)

About 4 minutes was just repeat and trying to come to a punchline that we all realised.. and then it never came.

To Chingalera: Slaves are slaves, it is and always has been wrong no matter how well you treat them. The point of this story is not slavery but inequality that's inherit in the Old Testament and it's many stories.. Men were not created to be equal, according to bible but simply who ever told the story was superior and had Gods given rights to be superior, no matter what they did to other tribes, it was justified. Kind of like.. well.. christian countries do: be equal and fair towards the people inside your country.

MadTV used that punchline years ago when they did a spoof of "Sex and the City".

Okay, the punchline made me LMFAHS.

I'm very much like this guy in that I toil over every word I type in an email most of the time reading and rereading to hear how it might sound to the recipient and always trying to nail the exact appropriate tone, always worrying I'm not being clear enough or conveying the wrong sentiment.

Although he telegraphed some of the punchlines from a mile away I still had to laugh at some of this. BTW I thought he was showing Boy George at the end for a second, is it that Green Day guy?

They ruined a perfectly good punchline by not pulling up to a drive-through burger place at the end.
