Tomorrowland - A World Beyond - Trailer 2
I could make good use of a force blasting door mat like that, door to door salesmen, bill collectors, Jehovah's Witnesses, the paperboy who never reaches the doorstep. Oh wait, he never reaches the doorstep, I'd like to order an automated deathray too.
Couple Arrested for Not Paying Tip
It shouldn't matter if the "Mandatory" was posted or not. A tip is a reward for good service/going above and beyond. I absolutely wouldn't pay it either if I received bad service - period!
There is no argument that would convince me otherwise - I'm close minded on this stance!
What other business or service industry demands a mandatory tip? Imagine...
1). Valet - Yes sir we parked your car, but you can go find it yourself, we're kind of busy right now - By the way, I demand a tip before you go looking for your car.
2). WalMart - I have no idea if we carry that. No, I don't have time to find out for you, but if you find it, we're adding an 18% gratuity to your bill on the way out.
3). Paperboy - I don't care if your paper arrives 3 days late on every issue, I'm a busy guy. By the way, you owe me a tip!
4). McDonnalds - I added napkins and a straw to your order, that will be an extra 18% or I take the food back.
5). Jewelery Store (yes, retail does pay minimum wage) - That will be $300 for the ring and we're adding on an extra 18% because we've decided we're such nice guys.
I could go on...

Obama: "Bush Sr. Did Great Job in First Gulf War"
I'll upvote it, even though I believe the truth about the Gulf War is closer to what Crosswords described:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_war#The_end_of_active_hostilities
The coalition would have more than likely fallen apart if we had ousted Hussein in 1991, and we would have also been exceeding the provisions of the UN mandate that authorized force ONLY to expel the Iraqi army from Kuwait. Back then our presidents still occasionally gave a shit about world opinion. Also Bush Sr. knew even then that occupation would be a costly venture. Still, it is worth mentioning how Bush encouraged the Shi'ites to rise up against Hussein, only to watch them get slaughtered without raising a finger to support them.
So did Bush the elder do an "excellent job" in the Gulf War? IMHO, no. However I don't think he did a terrible job either. And compared to his son, the elder Bush is positively Founding Father material. But then so is my paperboy.

John Cusack: Better Off Dead Trailer (1985)
Classic, the psychotic paperboy and the supa-hot French girl and the Asian racers were my favorites from that.
Bode Miller - Amazing Balance on Skiis (OMFG)
The 2 dollars reference is from the movie "Better Off Dead" (John Cusak). John's character is harassed throught the movie by a paperboy who's trying to collect his money. It's a recurring gag---the paperboy chases him through a carwash, through a park, and toward the end, down a ski slope when John is racing the jock (on one ski!)
If someone could find that clip and post it, it would make a great companion to this one!
