20+ year professional game dev here. This commercial conflates a mix of common game client bugs (eg: texture streaming errors, physics glitches, and animation attachment offsets) with straight up nonsense (upper half of coffee mug popping in with a phone over and over is caused by a slow network connection?). They never show any actual network performance problems that they, as a company, have been responsible for causing in real life.

It's as if a city council came out with electrified upgrades to their formerly-diesel city buses and to promote this fact, they cut an ad showing:

- piles of feces on the floor

lived and drove in Qatar for a few years - there were many 3-lane in and 3-lane-out roundabouts. (also drove in UAE where it was the same). You are supposed to yield to those cars already in the roundabout. Several of the roundabouts also had red-lights (aka "signals", aka "robots"). Left lane is for going left (3rd exit on a 4-way roundabout). Middle lane was for going straight (2nd exit). Right lane was for going right (1st exit). Usually works fine once you're used to it. You aren't supposed to change lanes inside the roundabout, and use your right turn signal when you are exiting (and crossing lanes to exit). If you are maintaining speed and people are yielding and exiting as they should, no collisions.
Trickier roundabouts are those with more than 4 exits, or with additional "slip roads".
On the straight roads, there's no notion of fast-lane or passing lane. But if there's a Land Cruiser tailgating you and flashing their high-beams, change lanes. It's not personal, or road rage, the locals just like to drive fast (and often in any lane in the roundabouts)
Another difference between driving in USA is that green means go, in any direction... whereas in US, left turn is yield on green, unless there's a green arrow.

Bob, as much as this'll surprise you, I totally agree with what you're saying. The distribution of the stimulus money to couples making up to $150,000 is friggen ridiculous -- and I'm in that category. I will do what I did with the last two checks: give to local charities helping the homeless and communities of color (as much as I hate that term).

The worst part of this is that it sets up a liquidity trap. The Fed can't reduce buying crap debt (that BBB dogshit is at 4% should terrify anyone who understands how debt and the rating agencies work), nor can they allow rates to rise (thus totally screwing responsible savers). Were it my call, I would scale the money along income (or non-income) lines: $10k for the lowest incomes, sliding scale from there. I'd also set up government-backed savings accounts that pay 10% for those people and only those people. I'd also pay off/down student debt along the same income scales.

I do not begrudge the wealthy for their wealth. But capitalism can't be a winner-take-all system. We live in a society, and society will always have winners and losers.
