You, notice how he waits for people to gather around? Also he tells the car to leave? He just wanted attention.

Why didn't any one stop him? A conglomerate of reasons.

Most of the time, the general public are too busy with themselves to understand their surroundings. It is, after all, a gas station. The humanoids there are busy doing work, or filling their tanks.

The only time some one will do something to help, or stop any thing is if they are predisposed to doing such things.

My advice to any one who goes to a gas station, Know where the emergency pump stop is. Its usually a big red button! You see any thing like this, do not hesitate to hit the button. That's what it is there for.

Its interesting how this episode briefly makes fun of the Star Trek: The Next generation episode Season 4 Episode 4; "Suddenly Human". When Cartman is trying to kill his mother, it is making fun of when the kid is trying to kill Picard because of the way Picard has changed his lifestyle, getting him to get used to a humanoid lifestyle as opposed to a more aggressive one.

There are other episodes in which South Park makes fun of Star Trek; Its bloody awesome for a Trekkie! Because all of a sudden it clicks, and you know what they are making fun of, and oh my!

First of all, learn to distinguish between a simple statement and an argument. I started no argument. No such thing as an argument of just one declarative sentence. There has to be a logical sequence, meaning at least two components or more in order for something to be argumentative. I posted a single statement, you cannot assign this as an argument. Do you see that thing called COMMENTS? where people post stuff? Is every comment an argument? No.

Secondly, for someone who uses the word logic and argument, it's ironic that instead of responding to what I said in a logical manner, you decide to attack me and make hasty conclusions about my knowledge. oh yeah ad hominems are so logical.

I'm with jmd, on the look of the humanoids and the shitty/cheap/lazy "gotcha" ending. Writers should know by now that hitting the reset/dream button at the end of the story is lame, lame, lame. The one thing I did like was the visual of the cavernous interior of the ship.
