'there is no god' was seriously supposed to be a funny bit?

She's an OK ventriloquist and moderately attractive but about as funny as a bout of food poisoning. Seriously needs to work on better material... The only funny bit was the microphone. Everything else was weak.

Some funny bits, but not hilarious by any means. Regardless of why Letterman decided not to air it, I don't think he owed anyone an apology. I understand that it might've been difficult for the family given what they knew at the time, but their anger at Letterman was, I think, misplaced.

Sorry for the downvote, but I really couldn't find much that was redeeming about this video. And I might have thought otherwise if you had included the *parody tag.

He's had a few funny bits, and I've actually tried to sift LaJoie before.

Rottenseed is right. Judaism is the only religion in the world that created this arbitrary rule that if your mother is Jewish, then so are you. Believing in God or not, if your mother is Jewish, then you're stuck that way forever.

David Cross does a really funny bit on his standup cd "Shut Up You Fucking Baby" about this very thing. Even if you're an outspoken Atheist, you're still a Jew. Weird, huh?
