Republicans Hate Dark Money Until They Love It

newtboy says...

Freudian slips?
Calling the Republicans “Rebs” is just too on the nose to be intentional, as is calling them rubes (even if misspelled).

It is shocking to hear you support federally funded campaigns…we actually agree on that point. Unfortunately all Republican representatives vehemently disagree. If you want that, vote blue.

Side note: that is getting PRIVATE money out of elections and PUBLICLY funding them….not getting public money out. Public money is the government, private money is the Koch bros or Soros.

Today Rebs have egg on their face. Next cycle Rub[e]s will set the trap for dems and they will get egg on their face.

The only fix is to get all public $ out of elections and just use Tax $ at a set amount. No 3 party vids or such just from candidates.

Joe Biden's Actual "To Do List"

newtboy says...

The instructions they gave Trump looked more like instructions for a preschooler, and he was incapable of following them anyway. What drivel, @bobknight33. That’s the best you got?

Now, what about Trump applauding for the “victory for white life” that the anti choice decision is at his latest rally? Even if she misspoke, he applauded for the blatant racist Freudian slip, because he counts on racial division for votes.

Vote While It Counts

newtboy says...

Lol. Bob, you want to keep illegal and fraudulent votes!? I think you just made a huge Freudian slip!
Voter ID is a must? But funding it isn’t? Telling.
What’s wrong with fingerprinting? No ID required, everyone already has one. Yes, it’s possible for two people to have identical fingerprints, like 1/7000000000, WAY less than the chance of voting with a fake ID…..and no requirement to go to the dmv with records you may not have, pay, and wait for a state ID that’s not useful for anything else in many people’s lives. That’s a poll test and a poll tax in one swoop. Both vote fuckery.

Cheaters like me? I defy you to explain….

…but I know, just like this reply, you CANNOT answer questions or back up your blathering, so you’ll fly off on some new delusional fantasy red herring.

Not a single democrat vote fraud or vote denial then, we’re agreed. It’s all Republican vote fuckery, both by fraud and suppression.

Democrat vote fuckery is legally getting people registered to vote and convincing them Democratic policies are vastly superior to Republican obstruction without policy, then getting them to vote legally, then having those legal votes counted!! Rand Paul said exactly that, insisting that MUST BE STOPPED, and it’s obvious you agree.

I'm spot on.

Cheaters like you cant handle such a system.

Mueller Explains He Was Barred From Charging Don

newtboy says...

Trump's presidency? It certainly is a sham.

No surprise you can't understand plain English. Being in a cult of personality has destroyed your less than stellar brain.
You describe Trump lying under oath as him being smart to not implicate himself but don't realize that means you admit the truth is he's a criminal.

Mueller said exactly what he means, DOJ rules did not allow him to even consider criminal charges, but congress can...here's 400 pages of evidence about multiple high crimes that does not in any way exonerate the president. Congress has a duty to examine and act on that evidence. You hear that as "total exoneration, case closed".

What about the other three scandals that were exposed today? How will you excuse today's undeniable criminality, unpatriotic incivility, and his admission that his presidency is illegitimate?

One, perjury by dozens of official Trumpees about the racist census changes that prove they were designed to give "Republicans and non Hispanic whites an electoral advantage" and hurt the Democrats, and would have that effect according to studies they also hid and lied under oath about. Proof of the racist conspiracy going back to 2015 was uncovered, contradicting their testimony that the order came directly from the DOJ based on questions first raised in 2017. Gonna just wait until 10am to hear the party line in court, then whatever new lie they tell will be your answer I expect.

Two, the constantly shifting denial of the official Whitehouse orders to hide the John McCain and barring of sailors from the ship from events because the Biggest Loser throws a childish temper tantrum when he hears or reads the name. Gonna blame that on a subordinate and deny responsibility for those under him acting incredibly, offensively unpatriotic and disrespecting the military on his behalf in his name purely to stroke his ego...."with good intentions" (keeping Trump's ego unbruised), and just ignore the reason they had to do it too I expect.

Three, the accidental admission that Russia actually got him elected. That you'll call an intentional misunderstanding of a poorly worded tweet by the fake news lefty media not a Freudian slip or confession I expect.

Thanks for the opportunity to shine more light on more daily proof he's illegitimate, unfit for office, and surrounded by unscrupulous and lawless sycophants.

What a sham

What kind of person would say it like this

Muller: “If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so"

What he really said ..we do not have any evidence to charge Trump.

This was just a ploy to push the ball back in Nancy Policy lap to try to get her to push forward impeachment proceedings.

Students Support Socialism. Until It's Applied To Their GPA

newtboy says...

1) Because they didn't succeed in a vacuum, they benefit from civilization, so are obligated to support it to at least the same extent if not more because they are able while others aren't.

2) swap dumb with rich and Trump is the bazillionaire he claims to be. You can't just swap dissimilar unrelated concepts and say "see, proved it" without looking like a braying moron.

3) Yes it should without question, our best and brightest don't come from the privileged class as a higher percentage. Actually the opposite because they don't have to do their best to survive, poorer people do, and drive matters immensely. If we want to compete internationally, we must educate the uneducated and undereducated, even those who can't afford $500000 to fake a crew history or SAT score. That education needs to be better than the countries we compete with, and it is all too often simply not.
That is a conservative stance, not a liberal one.

4) equating wealth to gpa, like this moronic video does, means Trump, like everyone else, should start at 0 and not get a bonus from daddy. If that happened, he would be zero. He is not self made, he did not only get a small $14 million unrepaid interest free loan. He did squander the money, failing at venture after venture until only Russian gangsters will loan him money, loans he needs because he squandered the money....then he repeatedly lied about it immorally squandering billions from hundreds of duped investors too...THAT is evil, yes.

5) We make $30000 for two people and don't take a dime, even overpaid my taxes...not everyone has my opportunities, privileges, and abilities. You are just spouting nonsense straw man arguments. In a perfect world, we could all be self sustaining with equal opportunity to succeed, we don't live in that communist/socialist utopia.....no one ever has.
I believe we are better off when the least privileged don't have to resort to violent or immoral crime to survive. I believe we are better off as a nation when our best people have the opportunities to succeed that our worst but most privileged are afforded. I believe we are better off being protected from the irresponsibility of purely profit driven commerce that, by design, must walk the razors edge of acceptability to maximize profit and minimize obligations by any means necessary, usually leaving them for socialist programs to clean up/repair. I believe we do more good ensuring the starving among us are fed food humans would willingly eat before ensuring some unrepentant apocalyptic bankers get their multi million dollar bonuses and a free pass on their crimes, and before those making multi millions a year get to hoard more and pay even less of their share.

6) What you are spouting is bat shit insane, not even AOC advocates pure socialism....not even Russia had pure socialism. Your ilk, however, calls any government program that doesn't directly benefit them or their Trumpian masters "socialist"....education, infrastructure, all regulatory agencies, social security, even the fbi have been labeled socialist by Trumpists in the zeal to discredit the report they assumed would expose criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States (ps, it found exactly that dozens of times over), while military welfare programs for equipment we don't want and won't use, bailouts for banks and agribusiness, public funds for private ventures like golf courses and troll roads, (edit:Freudian slip?) and don't forget the unmentioned elephant, the military itself...all that socialism is fine, you think it's not even socialism. *facepalm

I'll say it again.

Asinine.

1)Why should some one work hard supplement someone who didn't work hard or tried hard and came up short?

2) Swap out "GPA" with "Hard Earned Money" and these people are capitalists 100%!

3) Also higher education shouldn't be funded with tax dollars.

4) What does Trump have to do with this? His dad paid for his schooling and gave him $ to start his life on. He did not squandered the $. And you look at this as evil or such?

5) You want all to be dependent on government cheese or self sustaining?

6) American Government programs are 1 thing. Socialism as the main form of government is another.

dan eberhart refuses to admit the trump lies

Presidents have terms, dictators reign. Wanna reconsider your Freudian slip?
And it's pretty far from the beginning, likely closer to the end.

Compared to Trump, Obama was the epitome of honesty and strength. He opposed our enemies, he didn't offer to encourage their expansions (Russia) or hand them legitimacy and military victories (N. Korea) while getting nothing in return, or walking away from treaties after the other party has gotten what they wanted but we haven't (Iran).....oh...and there's also the fact that unlike Trump, Obama won the popular vote....twice, so at least he was a real POTUS. ;-)

I don't think that was a Freudian slip. I think it was a way to make a choice and take it back, even as you make it.

Rather brilliant, actually.

But as a joke? Doesn't work if you don't know for sure he meant it. If you have to explain it.

In my opinion, of course. I could be wrong. And if I am wrong, then it isn't brilliant.

Ha.

Someone stole naked pictures of me. This is what I did about

artician says...

Not the wording: the definition. Exploit does not mean hate, and at no point was I defending misogyny or abuse or hatred of anyone. But this odd definition of exploitation of women being re-labeled as 'hatred' has always struck me as an awkward manipulation of reality. To me, it's akin to redefining being punched in the face as 'rape'. Both things are terrible, but repurposing a worse word to apply to a lesser one is over-exaggerating the situation only to draw attention to the crime.

As for exploiting people, that's just getting into a Freudian psycho-analysis, the nuances of which could honestly make everyone guilty of exploitation just by human nature. But we should bypass that because the subject isn't applicable and is wide and deep enough to spawn a hundred websites just dedicated to just that topic alone, and no one in this tier of human evolution will ever find a conclusion to that conversation.

But this is something different. This is an intentional action to belittle others for the sake of social or personal insecurity. I am entirely against that, but I have to draw the line at blowing things out of proportion for the sake of drawing attention to the issue, especially when it's done on a culturally-wide level, because that makes all of us collectively dumber in the end. I demand progress through honesty.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Prison (HBO)

JustSaying says...

Are you a James Bond villian?

Look at yourself, here you are, argueing basically for eugenics and executing the untermenschen who breed illegally. Oh sorry, I confused terms here, "unqualified parents" not untermenschen, "crime prevention" not eugenics. I'm sorry, you just sounded so incredibly aryan here, I did nazi the mistake I made. Call it a Freudian slip.

Jerykk said:

As for the other things, I've already covered them pretty extensively in my previous posts. The punishment for illegal breeding would either be execution or forced sterilization. Sounds harsh but the ends justify the means in this particular case. We already do it to animals and animals breeding is a lot less dangerous than people breeding.

Rick Rubin: Punk Rock, Hip-Hop, Advantage of Big Companies

Trancecoach says...

You seem to equate "envy-fiends" with "liberals" here. I suppose that it's an understandable conflation tho, seeing as how you seem to consider yourself to be a "liberal" and thus (possibly) know yourself an envy-fiend, and can therefore link the two as being evidently interchangeable.

Perhaps, as a "spokesperson" for "liberals," then, you'd like to clarify for me what it is that the envy-fiends "really" say?

And I'm curious, too, as to whether anyone (other than me) actually care what you (as a "liberal" spokesperson) think (aside from those who have their fun at your expense).

Just like Mr. Rubin would likely remain in the 1% in any system, whether the state is run by "liberals" or by "conservatives," so would the envy-fiends remain so, either way. (BTW, I'm not calling you an envy-fiend, but you made the link for whatever -- Freudian-or-other -- reasons that seem to be quite personal to you.)

Of course, you can name a record producer who said such thing.

Do you never get tired of using the Straw Man fallacy? Or maybe you don't know what it is and can't tell the difference between what liberals actually say and what you fantasize they would say?
