I have to say, I loved your "long, boring summary" of this. I went to watch it with my best friend. We got out of the cinema and he was very quiet, I was chatting away, just an unbelievable film, one of the most tragic love stories ever told. And we got to the car and he just sobbed and sobbed. It touched him so much. Of course it didn't touch me in the same way, although there are plenty of love stories that do, but it was so nice, because finally someone had told a proper story about real love between two men. Anyway, i'll try and find an embed for it if you haven't got round to it. Just thought i'd share that with you, as what you wrote made me think of it and i'm sure you got a similar experience as he had

Brokeback Mountain in 30 seconds... Bunny Version.
^Wow. Thanks for wasting an extra minute of your time for your very original and thoughtful YouTube-esque commentary, on two of my sifts. You don't resemble a troll at all.

Well that was... a waste of 30 seconds.

Quitting Assassin's Creed
"I wish I could quit you."
-Brokeback Mountain
Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - "A Taste Of Honey"
^Then vote for the song, asshole.
And I must confess that this is a self-link. Jake's a friend of mine, so he did this for me as a favor. We've been friends since we worked together on "Brokeback Mountain."
Heath Ledger Dead (Cinema Talk Post)
Wow talk about unexpected celebrity deaths. I initially didn't like him after they raped Taming of the Shrew for 10 Things I Hate About You but his performance in Brokeback Mountain was outstanding. Good actor.
Justice League 300 Trailer
What is it about the 300 and Brokeback Mountain trailers that drives so many people to parody them? Upvoted.
La Marche de l'Empereur: Funny French ad w/English subtitles
There's also the same kind of ad with brokeback mountain.
Cheesy 80s McDonalds ad. Keep it hot hot! Keep it cool cool!
That was gayer than a bowl of penises in a gay bathhouse in San Francisco with Andy Dick on one side and Richard Simmons on the other, the 3 of them watching a projection of Brokeback Mountain on two gay guys doing gay things.
Movie Kiss Compilation
No Brokeback Mountain? Awwww...

George Bush + Stephen Harper = Brokeback (scandal in Canada)
from the Globe and Mail:
QUEBEC -- Call it poor judgment or just bad taste, Parti Québécois Leader André Boisclair's appearance in a TV parody of Brokeback Mountain is drawing fire from all sides, including members of his own party.
Mr. Boisclair appeared in a comedy sketch to be aired next month on MusiMax channel featuring caricatures of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President George W. Bush seen naked from the waist up in a tent.
As the playful Bush character throws cherries at Harper's nipples covered with whipped cream, the real André Boisclair peeps his head through an opening in the tent. "Quebec won't get mixed up in something like that," an awkward Mr. Boisclair says, drawing on his limited talents as an actor to deliver his line.
The parody, based on the critically acclaimed movie about the relationship between two homosexual cowboys, draws attention to Mr. Boisclair's homosexuality, a key element in the sketch's punch line...
Brokeback Bunnies.
I'm actually quite curious why someone might down-vote this video. I've submitted a few of these "Movies in 30 seconds re-enacted by bunnies" over the last few days, I find most of them to be absolutely hilarious. I plan on submitting more as I'm able to find them hosted on one or more of the video services that videosift makes use of. Does it have something to do, one way or the other, with the theme of Brokeback Mountain, or is it something specific about this video in particular? Are there overt bunny-phobics here? Care to discuss?
