Gasland (full film)
I'm in and out of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission building in Casper about a few times every month, and all I see are businessman from the petroleum industry (including Encana fucks) bitching about not getting enough permits to drill. And I don't care how much the state increases the number of permits, it's fucking never enough. They view them as a goddamn birthright. Of course these guys drive there in their Hummers, so they probably each need a well just to fill their gas tanks. I even heard one of those assholes complaining that Nixon would never have signed the Clean Water Act if he knew all the regulations it was going to create. Makes you want to scream.

Midterm mania: I voted today...so much for that (Politics Talk Post)
I got curious and tallied some votes. In Wyoming 344,000 out of 544,000 citizens. So around 63%.
In California, more than 80% of the population didn't vote.

Obama: 'Vitriol' Against Me A Product Of The Economy
>> ^kronosposeidon:
I think the "vitriol" problem is worse than Obama imagines. If he were here in Wyoming he might understand what I'm talking about. A LARGE percentage of Americans hate him, and always will. Even if unemployment drops to historic lows and health care improves for Americans, he will always be hated by the conservative base, the same one that approved of George Bush's performance, no matter how awful he was.
It's sad but true.
Yeah, Republicans had to play the FUD card. Well they had to because they are bad people.

Announcing the *Equality channel (Equality Talk Post)
By the power of residing in the Equality State, I dub this *quality.
BTW, I just learned that according to condom manufacturer Condomania, Wyoming has the smallest penises in the union. But never fear, for we have the highest gun ownership rate in the nation. Didn't see that coming, did ya?

Here in Wyoming that's how we rich folks like to hunt. Squirrel tastes better when you kill it yourself.
Except there's nothing left to eat if you kill a squirrel with one of these. Nothing left at all, for that matter.
Where do you stand on HCR without a public option? (Politics Talk Post)
^ Democracy is one person one vote, not one state, two votes.
California and New York have tons of Republicans, Texas has a ton of Democrats.
I don't see why Democrats who live in Idaho or Utah shouldn't ever get represented in the Senate, nor why Republicans are essentially never going to be heard from if they live in Vermont or Wisconsin.
For that matter, I don't see why the people living in DC get no vote in the house or Senate at all, even though more people live there than do in Wyoming, which gets 2 Senate votes and a House vote.
I'd settle for us just dropping the filibuster (the Constitution sets up the Senate as a majority-rules body, after all), but I'm game for ditching the Senate entirely.
Straw Bale House made by Single Mom
It's not only hippies who build these types of homes. Go through places like the Dakotas and Wyoming and Montana, and you'll find that ranchers and farmers have been building huge straw bale homes for ages.
Is produce from 'Whole Foods' truly organic?
Boycotting Whole Foods is easy for me, as they are non-existent in Wyoming. Still, I encourage everyone who is near one to boycott them because they are anti-labor, among other things. That's why I won't shop at WalMart, which Casper now has two of. Fuck 'em.
Bill Maher Overtime with David Cross
His comment about abolishing the U.S. Senate is a wonderful idea. I've done some thinking about this and it seems to me that California's 36M+ and Wyoming's 600K< people should not have equal vote in any legislative body. Get rid of the Senate!
TRON Reboot Ep. 1 - "Throw the disc!"
@ForgedReality:
No, EndAll's brother got banned for using "spook", because the user who dropped the N bomb is different than the one who used "spook." See:

Just because some of you might not know "spook" is a racist term doesn't mean that it's not a slur or that it's not as bad as better known slurs. Also, I've lived in Nebraska, Florida, New York, Maryland, Colorado and Wyoming, and in every one of those places people knew that "spook" was a slur. I'm guessing it's the same all over the U.S., and in Canada too. But I suppose that's besides the point, because even if it's a slur only familiar to a few members, then it shouldn't be allowed.
For example, most of us now know (thanks to George Allen) that "macaca" is a racist term, even though it's quite uncommon in most places. So should we allow members to call black people "macacas" because of its relatively low usage?
And to those who want to cry "CENSORSHIP!", because someone always wants to throw freedom of speech into these things, please reorder your priorities. Like it's been said a million times before, this is NOT a country. It's a web site. It's like a big house where there's always a party going on, and you're invited as long as you abide by a few rules. I know if someone referred to black people as "spooks" in my house I'd show them the door.
I don't want this place to turn into a shit hole where people can hurl racial or ethnic slurs with impunity. That'll attract the wrong kind of people, and then watch the advertisers fly out the door when they see their wares being advertised next to shit like "spook." And then say goodbye to VideoSift.
Based on the precedent established by the Westy affair I'm going to hobble QM. I fail to see how QM's usage of "spook" could have been meant in any other way except as a racial slur. I leave it to the admins to decide how long he should be hobbled.
So can we ban his racist ass now? (Wtf Talk Post)
I'm a troll. So what of it? I also like easy targets like black people and gays and people who live in Wyoming.
George Carlin on the King of Pop
Who can tell?
Carlin agrees with me about 9/10.

Sinatra lived a life none of us could understand, where the line between law and crime was thin and ever changing.
