On a road racing bike, how does he does these stunts?

Asmo says...

History is littered with people who tried amazing things and payed a heavy price for it. I think the world would be a much more boring place without those people.

And I'm sure you can remember many times in your life where you survived something silly only to think back later "What the fuck was I thinking???". I know I've had more than a few close shaves where my life could have ended and become one of those cautionary tales on the evening news.

Final Fantasy 7 REMAKE - Trailer E3

Count me in on the hate boat. I loathed FF7 for its broken system. It was the only game out of any RPG games I've played that I've managed to hit L99, either voluntarily or involuntarily. It just happened. Reason why I hate it? Imagine the this setup:

Cloud + Ultima Weapon + 8 Counter-Attack materia attached, two extra party members.... vs JENOVA.

Result: it died after 1 round of attack.

Is it a reason to get a PS4? Hell f'ing no. I'd rather play the "Tales of" series and Star Ocean.

White Party - A Lesson in Cultural Appropriation

But seriously, @JustSaying

If that's how you feel, all you needed to express was that idea in the very last paragraph.

That's an insightful and helpful topic of discussion. Nice, one.

The rest - unfortunately- was you explicitly saying..

"While White Shame stretches as far from.. mundane everyday political buffoonery.. to harrowing tales of holocausts & lynchings..

..point-blank, there is literally NOTHING you colored folks could say to hurt my feelings/make me feel any true embarrassment, outrage or remorse..

(including the most terrible heinous things my heritage & daily life present)

..because at the end of the day, this world was LITERALLY made for me

(besides. i'm not even culpable for any of that abhorrent stuff
that "happened such a long time ago".

So what's wrong/why shouldn't I still benefit from it today also)

so.. hah. whatevs"

A point folks like @lantern53 ACTIVELY REFUSE to admit is THE #1 problem in American race-relations.

@shinyblurry, respectfully,
The bible lies. It's stories were probably not meant to be an 'explanation' of reality in the first place, but more likely were created as fables to explain morality...thanks Constantine. (So you know, he's the emperor that ACTUALLY compiled the bible together from various oral traditions, as a political ploy to consolidate religions to make them easier to control.)

You and I have been over this claim repeatedly...Not a whit of EVIDENCE has ever been provided to me, only idiots regurgitating nonsense from 2000+ years ago-
(nonsense made up mostly by Arab/Semitic nomads thousands of years before they were written, likely made up as morality tales, also to 'explain' how they thought certain things worked before the scientific method came around to actually explain reality...examples, the sun and universe spin around the flat earth, the sun rides on a chariot, witches and demons are responsible for any bad thing that happens, etc.)
-idiots who change their interpretations when their current interpretation is shown clearly and undeniably to be completely wrong and indicative of a lack of basic understanding. As evidence goes, that's evidence that religion is wrong and harmful, not that it's correct and helpful.

If god is going to provide evidence of his existence to me, he's taking his sweet time and allowing the issue to be confused with 'facts' and 'reality'. (I'm assuming that's what you meant, and not that there would be proof of polytheism, as you wrote).

The sooner you come to grips with all that, the sooner you can stop saying ridiculous things as 'fact' and ignoring fact as either 'willful suppression of god's grace' or 'Satan tricking you'. It's odd to me that no religious people ever think the bible itself might be a creation of Satan, tricking you into terrible behavior and hatred of 'infidels', encouraging and causing behavior it specifically forbids (Eg-stoning to death/thou shalt not kill...worshiping crosses and or statues of Jesus/thou shalt not create any graven (carved) images).

I hope reality will provide everyone with evidence of it's existence, and people will stop suppressing the truth because they love their religion.

I don't see any story here at all. That's not to say there isn't one; the directors might have a great tale to tell, but right now this is a premise, not a story.

A great premise can lead to a great story, but it's far from guaranteed.

i am not surprised we pretty much agree.

you should always be careful with any substance and to be informed is the first step.
was i careful at 15 with double barrel purple mescaline?---->nope.i was 15.

but i think the argument is getting caught up in distinctions, which is common.
when i speak of psychedelics,i am talking about:LSD,shrooms, mescaline.
and while exstacy is considered a psychedelic, and it IS a psychedelic (and awesome btw),i also consider that drug to be more a "club" drug,a designer drug, and yes...it can be fatal because often it is NOT mdma/mda you're are taking but a cocktail of bullshit with a few experimental chemistry molecules thrown in...so your cautionary tale is not exactly unfounded..but i have never seen shagen even suggest mdma/mda but almost exclusively:DMT.

now,i am fairly cautious in suggesting DMT to the uninitiated due to the fact of its potency (even in small amounts).there is no small build up with DMT,it goes from first gear to 15th in 2.2 seconds, and for a newcomer that can easily overwhelm and frighten.

for psychedelics to produce a positive and healthy response there first has to be interest in trying psychedelics out.the worst thing you could EVER do is "hey man,i just filled your beer with shroom tea" (you would notice though, that shit tastes like concentrated ass).

the person should also be in the right frame of mind and be in a place and with people they feel comfortable with and trust (very important the first time).knowing the dosage is important but not as important as you would think,as long as you take things slow and with patient care..things will sort out nicely.

as for death and permanent brain damage.i am not familiar with any cases except for the movie they showed us in the 7th grade with helen hunt thinking she could fly, because she took acid.i know psychedelics can affect a personality permanently (usually for the better) but nothing life threatening.i know too high a dosage on a novice mind can cause a "bad" trip and leave an unpleasant memory of the experience.there have been cases of latent mental illnesses manifesting due to the psychedelics, but it didnt CAUSE the mental illness.

from my own personal experience and what i have read, psychedelics are pretty safe.they are not a toy.they are an extremely powerful psychoactive compound that should always be treated with respect and to ignore that can have consequences.

but i dont think death and permanent brain damage are on that list.

unless you decided to do something stupid while tripping, but that is evolution, not psychedelics.

i could always come to california and we could drink shroom kool-aid.hang out on the moutain-side and watch the sunset and by the time we are watching the sunrise we will have become blood brothers and watched the universe expand in glorious birth pangs and then collapse upon itself in its death throes.talked to stars and danced with super novas.find ourselves in a meadow, thinking we walked half the state only to realize we are a 1/4 mile from your back porch.

i promise good times my friend.good times indeed.

Always wondered about that fairy tale.

Prince doesn't know what she looks like, what her name is, what she's like, what her voice sounds like, but he's prepared to marry her knowing literally zero about her.

Why would she want to marry a guy who spent a whole evening with her but is so stupid he can only recognize her by her shoe?

And don't get me started on Rumpelstiltskin. Psycho greedy father, psycho evil king, but they're the good guys, the guy who offers to help (sure with a price tag, but hey, capitalism, right?) is the bad guy? What?

RFC: VS6 Sidebar Suggestions (Sift Talk Post)

just an idea here @lucky760,which i suspect many long time users may not even consider, because it is old news to them, but is there a way to expose top videos from years ago?

i am not suggesting re-hashing a related/suggested tag but actually making a spot for top voted sifts, which from years ago could hit 300+ votes.

follow my logic here:
IF the purpose of all this time and energy you are putting in to revamp the sift to a more sleek and user-friendly (which means phones and tablets,to the chagrin of us neanderthal PC users) in order to attract new users, doesn't it make sense to reveal the wonderful content that started this site?

the sift has become more than just a voter-based community, categorizing quality videos.
it has become an archive.
so many sifters from years ago submitted some amazing content just when videos were becoming popular.the birth of the youtube generation and we were there, and youtube was not the juggernaut it is now.

you had to really put some time into finding decent videos, using multiple sites.the results from all that time and energy were spectacular though and i think new users would be just as enthralled as we were back then.

so instead of cluttering up the front page with list after list,maybe..possibly..we could add the lists as a single link.

so if someone already familiar with the sift could click the top 15 link and be directed there.
this would satisfy sifters like @dannym3141 and i suspect a majority of others.

you could do the same with related/suggested and more videos from=sifter name here.

this would work on two levels:
1.new users would be exposed to some of the most amazing content that they had never been exposed to before.
2.many of those older videos are now defunct, giving current sifters an opportunity to undead that video, therefore retaining the integrity of the video archive and upholding our *quality status.

all-time sifts
legendary sifts
tales from the archive crypt

just some ideas what to title the link.

what say you?

The part that includes your type of arguments starts at 5:40.

Specifically, you have told me that I can't see God because I haven't asked/prayed/looked etc. hard enough. You have told me that I have to accept God first, and then I'll see. You have told me that a dozen different things make no sense without God, like morality, self-awareness and so on and you also claim that the universe itself is de facto proof of God's existence. As for the fourth, I think you told me that I'm afraid to accept God, rather than angry. Or maybe you did say angry. Or both. I can't remember. Either way, you blamed my lack of acceptance of God on some basic emotion, so, similar enough.

Regardless, you have no evidence for any of these claims other than the words in the Bible, the validity of which is the subject of this argument to begin with.

Your believing in God doesn't make God real any more than my not believing in God makes him a fairy tale. I can't believe you're still bringing Bible quotations out as evidence.
