Today we got a recording of Colorado District 4 Congressman Ken Buck pressuring an El Paso County GOP official to falsify (primary) election results in the State Senate District 10 race in 2020. “Just add this name to the ballot and give him the top line vote, with 30% of the vote.”

“ Buck: “Do you understand the order of the executive committee and the central committee that you will submit the paperwork to include Mr. Stiver and Mr. Liston on the ballot, with Mr. Liston receiving the top-line vote?”

Bremer: “I will seek legal counsel as I am being asked to sign an affidavit that states Mr. Stiver received 30% of the vote. I need to seek legal counsel to find out if I am putting myself in jeopardy of a misdemeanor for doing that. ”

Buck: “And you understand that it is the order of the central committee that you do so?”

Bremer: “I will consult with counsel. Yes sir, I understand the central committee has ordered me to sign an affidavit stating that a candidate got 30% who did not, and I will seek legal counsel and determine if I am legally able to follow that.”“

They were stopped from just discarding the primary vote by legal injunction, and they appealed saying they’ve done this so often that if they allow people to file for injunction against this illegal election fraud then the courts will be clogged for years because they’ve done this uncountable times.

Another blatant, outrageous, totally anti democracy election fraud by Republicans. Your party should be declared enemies of democracy and every registered Republican deported to a non democratic country, forfeiting 100% of the assets they’ve taken from America….or lined up in the street and shot as active traitors. The Japanese weren’t as anti American in WW2 as today’s Republicans…and you’re one of them. Your party should be renamed Ephialtes.

Lol! Even Trump's pardons are less than worthless.

Kushner's friend Ken Kurson who installed spyware on his ex wife's computer to cyber stalk her and stole and used her passwords and harassed and threatened people including witnesses and court officials during their divorce was pardoned by Trump because spying on and stalking your ex and threatening the courts is something he's done and understands.

Too bad it's also a state crime in New York where he did it, and the supreme court already ruled that prosecuting in a different venue is not double jeopardy. They also ruled that accepting a pardon is legally admitting guilt. That means any crimes Trump pardoned (there's thousands) that are also state crimes can not only still be prosecuted, the defendants have already admitted guilt in a legally binding way.

D'oh! Say goodbye to the Trump crime syndicate.

Another indicted Republican, Texas attorney general Ken Paxton, admitted to helping essentially rig the election in the state of Texas so that Donald Trump would win the state. He did this by blocking 2.5 million ballot applications from being sent to Harris county, where Houston is, because if even half of Houstonians voted, Biden would have crushed Trump in Texas, and he knew it, so he blocked sending out applications for mail in ballots (and removed all but one ballot drop box for nearly 4 million voters in Harris County) by claiming they were illegal ballots.
" If we'd lost Harris county, which is where Houston is, Trump won by 620,000 votes in Texas, Harris county mail-in ballots (he actually blocked applications) that they wanted to send out were two and a half million. Those were all illegal." (They weren't though, and it seems he didn't block them elsewhere in Texas) "We were able to stop every one of them.
We would have been one of those battleground states that were counting votes in Harris county for three days. And Donald Trump would have lost the election."

It wasn't fear of fraud, it wasn't the law, it was purely because if voters voted, Trump would have lost Texas by millions of votes. That's why they suppressed the vote in certain parts of Texas. They admit it clearly. Even Texas has rejected Republicanism, but Texas republicans have no problem cheating voters and committing massive fraud if it keeps republicans in power.

One more instance of massive voter fraud by Republicans in 2020, still not a single Democratic voter fraud case, and still Big Daddy Biden crushed diaper Don by millions....without the multiple verified frauds and massive voter suppression he may have won by 20 million or more, definitely >10 mil if just Texas played fair.

Enjoy 2024. Red tsunami?

Ps, don't think I didn't notice you ignored my last post in favor of just denigrating Biden for his age while ignoring Trump's rapid slide deeper into delusional dementia, and his failing health. For fucks sake, his most trusted advisor is a brain dead crack head, the only one who agrees with his nonsense. Even you, delusional sycophant that you are, won't stoop to defend Trump's fitness for office now, you just make up nonsense about Biden to make yourself feel better instead. So sad.

I remember reading that paper in the early 00s and loving it. The bombshell for me was that at about 4:47 in the video he says he thinks Ken actually did do what I assumed the paper was joking about, which I'll admit sent a little shiver down my spine.

The only limit would have been Ken's forward thinking on how complex the self-updating aspect would be. Once it passes a certain threshold , iirc, it's essentially unstoppable. Below a certain threshold it would probably already have been found.

Once again, after weeks of waiting for your evidence, I'll ask....can you name ONE?! So far, every person identified is a hard core Trumpist, every armed terrorist identified, everyone hunting Pence, everyone carrying cuffs and zip tie cuffs, everyone beating police, everyone breaking Windows, everyone giving tours to insurgents for recon on secret offices, everyone live tweeting Pelosi's location....ALL Trumpsters, not one identified as Antifa. Nice fantasy you think somehow absolves the violent terrorist Trump mob that tried to violently overthrow the government, but as usual you have zero evidence besides self serving lies. Even if it's true (and there's no evidence it is) there were a few non Trumpsters egging on the crowd of thousands, do you think that absolves your ilk of responsibility, or do you see that it means they were so primed and itching for insurrection that a few scruffy anarchists convinced them to attack their own country.

Also, you must ignore the mountains of evidence these morons left of their plans, plans to attack congress, kidnap elected officials, and somehow install Trump as president. Those plans weren't from Antifa, they were proud boys, boogaloos, militias, white power groups, and bat shit crazy Karens and Kens....all Trumpists.

So....Antifa destroying democratic headquarters and waving banners saying "we don't want Biden, we want revenge" pretty much blows up your "Antifa=Democrats, Democrats=Antifa" claims. What now?

Enjoy the patriot party, don't think about the fact that splitting the Republican party means never winning any elections. You just go on with Donny, who likely won't be able to hold office. Clearly he hasn't thought it through or he would have waited until after his impeachment trial to announce his new party, because now Republicans understand the only way to save their party and jobs is to ban Trump from politics.
Also, how is he going to start a political party in prison. Hard to set up a press conference from solitary.
Sorry sunshine, like everything he touches, Trump is destroying the right on his way out the door.

Regret

BSR says...

I think the point was that I learned something about myself that I will never forget and has made me more compassionate towards others. I not only hurt Ken but also myself. I started out wondering what Ken would do. I never thought about what I was going to do afterwards. I think that was a good thing and I owe it to Ken.

Regret

BSR says...

When I was about 13ish living in NJ, my friend and I decided to head down to the railroad near the Delaware river.

To get there we decided to go down the steel steps that ran down the hillside in our town. There are two flat platforms along the way and when we reached the first one we spotted a boy who, we knew from the area, coming up the steps in our direction.

His name was Ken. Ken had a mental disability but he was harmless. A friendly and defenseless kid that was about the same age as us and about a head taller. As he was coming up the steps I wondered what he would do if I punched him in the gut. A total sucker punch that he wouldn't see coming.

I knew he wouldn't retaliate so I decided I would do it.

As he got within range, without warning, I punched him right in the gut hard.

How he reacted and the painful look on his face instantly brought regret that, to this day, I still live with. Many years later I made an effort to find Ken and tell him how sorry I was for my violent, unprovoked actions that day. How much of an asshole I was and hope he might forgive me. I found out he had died just a couple of years back.

I think about how that punch may have changed him forever. How it may have destroyed his trust in people and planted a fear within him that I was responsible for.

Sometime later, when I was alone, I cried that day with that vision I saw on his face and I can still see it now and feel it in my gut as I write this.

That day had changed my life forever at his expense.

Unfortunately this mindset has destroyed our planet.

It's far more responsible and less damaging to regret something you haven't done.

Usually when people regret not doing something it's because they regret missing out on an experience. Usually when people regret something they've done, it's because it was disastrous and the experience was not worth the cost to themselves and others.

Oh Jesus, bobski, now you just deny it happened based on one prageru video that conveniently omits what happened 68-72...the time period in question?!? And you complain about CNN?!?

Your proof it didn't happen, Republicans didn't completely control the south until 94?! What nonsense. That's not proof of anything of the sort, implied correlation isn't causation. Republicans were about to disappear in the south in 68-69, that changed by 72.

Perhaps you've forgotten that, in 2005, Republican National Committee chairman Ken Mehlman formally apologized to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a national civil rights organization, for decades of exploiting racial polarization to win elections and ignoring the black vote.

Learn some truth, not some far right propaganda that intentionally omits the time period being discussed in it's best arguments, offering red herring suppositions at best. Duh.

Trump and Putin -- A Love Story. Trump Does Bite

newtboy says...

Yeah, except all the pesky convictions and pending felony charges....zero, zip, nada, except all them.
But of course, it's the left lying, not you, of course...has to be.
*facepalm

How long was the Ken Star investigation? Of course you denounced it as a never ending unfounded partisan witch hunt when it didn't get Clinton (or any) convictions in the first year....or the second....third....fourth....fifth....or ever for the crimes it was formed to investigate....zero, zip, nada, null set, nothing, nunca. Witch hunt, witch hunt, witch hunt.
See how imbecilic that sounds?

bobknight33 said:

Lies are from the Left and they are full of them.........
Nearly 2 years on this witch hunt and still ZERO, ZIP, NADA

Um....so nearly every person involved in the Trump campaign having Russian ties, many having been convicted of lying under oath about them doesn't count.....why?
Directly asking Putin to hack a political rival, which he does, then using that hack as a political tool/unreported campaign donation doesn't count.....why?
Clinton having official contact as part of her job as secretary of state counts....why?

No Bob. Those are not the same thing, that's why they are spelled, sound, and are defined differently. Not that surprising you're confused though. Words are hard....it's ok, buddy, keep trying, you'll get it.

Nope....not the only republican by far.....I specifically meant McConnell.

Yes, time will tell. This admission you've now made makes your repeated whining about how long the investigation has taken with no proof of direct collusion yet released (except the convictions and guilty pleas over subordinates collusion and consistently lying about it) pretty damn ridiculous.
In fact, clear Trump collusion has been found, it was just by Jr when he met Russians looking for dirt on Clinton but maybe not at the direction of daddy Trump because it's reasonable to think he's not a real leader, even of his campaign.
Yes, it's more likely the investigation will turn up other, far more easily prosecuted crimes, like campaign finance violations and more frauds, and never prosecute for hard to prove treason (unless Putin gets upset and turns over documents proving collusion). Recall, Ken Star was looking at Whitewater, which proved to be nothing more than a bad real estate deal the Clintons lost money on, but he did charge Clinton with non related crimes anyway.....5 years+- into his investigation. If you think Trump is cleaner or smarter than either Clinton, you're delusional. He's bragged about buying politicians for decades....on tape. That's not considered clean or smart by most people.

You spinning out of control Newt. Your Trolling does not bother me.

The ONLY Russian connection to the election was with the Hillary camp.

" Spy-a person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor.
Informant-a person who shares information." So a Spy and Informant are the same thing/ So there was a spy in the Trump camp.. Thanks for admitting it.

Gowdy is is the only Republican supporting Muller investigation.

Time will tell where the Muller investigation leads, Maybe a blue dress somewhere, but it will have nothing to do with Trump Russian collusion.

Jeopardy! First Tiebreaker Ever After 37 seasons

MilkmanDan says...

I think I can remember seeing a few ties, but mostly back in the pre-Ken Jennings era when it was capped at 5 wins as you say.

I've been in Thailand for over a decade, pretty hard to get my Jeopardy fix here. YouTube has full episodes sometimes, but I haven't found a torrent source for reliable dailies. So, I haven't watched very much in the past 10+ years.

Fairbs said:

The only tie I remember was a guy that could have won had he bet more. He chose to get the tie because it was his last day on the show. I think at that time, you could only win 5 times and then you were retired. The person he tied with came back the next day.
