Anyway, I'm writing this mostly to encourage myself. I didn't support him "at the get go" and now I'm trying to rely on my faith to encourage myself to support the man. I know how to eat my humble pie.

The atmosphere (spiritual and physical) was beautiful in Grant Park last night. I wish everyone could have been there, especially the good folks who happened to support the other tickets.

Doc_M, I don't want you to support Obama now just because it was God's will, or just because it was the country's will, or just because he's gonna be our leader, or even because he's black and it's an historical racial milestone.
Take the intellectual responsibility to judge him rationally on his performance. And if he messes up, let him know. That's what I want... and that's what he asked for.
