South African Jet Car driver Pieter DeWit has survived a horrifying incident at the Perth Motorplex last night, where the parachute on his ‘Gravity Storm’ dragster failed at 450kph, spearing him across the safety area at the state of the art venue before eventually coming to rest. And that makes ten votes. Had a rotor failure on one of our race cars a few years back and it was a frightening crash. I can't imagine a dragster going out of control
