1600 HP twin turbo Formula Offroad hydroplaning world record

In the interests of full disclosure, it's only a world record because it's the first time they've timed it... next year they plan to go faster.

Depending on whether you're used to metric or not, 1001 feet is 305.1 metres and 87 km/h is 54mph (and 1600HP is 1193kW).

YouTube Description:

Gudbjørn Grimsson making a world record with the first official speed measured (87 km/h) on a 1001 feet long river in a extreme Formula Offroad race in Iceland! A twin turbo Nelson Racing engine with 1600 HP did the job!
