In cases such as this, where the dupe's owner is privileged, I don't worry about it. In fact, I find the discard gets the dupeof done quicker, as the owner will be notified that their video has been discarded and can then invoke dupeof themselves. When the owner is a mere subhuman such as I am, I usually call for help from one of the grownups.
