Zero Punctuation: Super Mario Galaxy 2
Hmm, he calls the Simpsons on not being funny after season 5... and this is year what of ZPR? Hmm.... which will last longer?
Zero Punctuation: Awards for 2009
Sadly a ZPR installment where it's not enough to have the mute in use for the first 30 seconds or so. This one must be watched with your mouse cursor hovering over mute the whole way.
Leaked Witcher 2 Gameplay(!) Video
Oh man, I really need to finish "Witcher 1"...
The accent at 2:45 was hilarious.
Hmm, the only thing that worried me was that quick-time events thing... do they not listen to ZPR reviews on all other action games?

You really nailed it kulpims. Every word. Could not have said it better.

I agree with danny, this new star point hierarchy sucks and so does raising the escape limit to 15 votes. dag, lucky - you're making a big mistake. also, I don't appreciate the way you introduced this very important new changes. these changes are more important than the new layout and ui and you should have consulted with the community before implementing them - that's why we have polls, right? as it is now, I feel we don't matter enough to have a say in where this site is going.
I became addicted to sift crack in may 2007 and have been hanging around for a couple of months before that. I felt good in the company of fellow video junkies with specific, unique tastes and wanted to make a difference by contributing what I felt was worthy of showing up on the frontpage of a site that boasts "quality control" in their title, and while I do realize "quality" is subjective, I feel these new changes will only serve to promote mediocracy. it will not bring more participation from newly registered sifters and long-time lurkers like danny. i feel like there's no room for original findings deep from the tubes any more. our frontpage might soon look like any other bullshit site out there and that is not why I signed in for. if you want the site populated with what is trendy, you don't really need us sifters to decide what is quality and what isn't - you could just look at the top 10 most visited video sites on the net, see what's 'in' and steal the embeds. if you only want those kind of sifters, let us know. like deano, farhad and mr. fisk already mentioned - some of us will hardly get anything sifted now unless we adapt, go mainstream and try to beat Zifnab at ZPR. well, I for one refuse to sell out!

From the end trailer I can postulate that Yahtzee has sold out faster that pele and his impotence adds.
I seriously wonder if he calls those people friends.
(on a side note, not that I'm against him selling out, good for him)
In addition co hosting something really kills the idea that he is a jaded sociapath of some description.
He already started and finished writing a PC Gamer column... not news.

Am I the only one who dislikes the horribly loud hard-rock intro/outro sequence of ZPR? Despise might be more apt. I have to be quick on the volume controls while watching these. Perhaps I'll do a narrated slideshow about it...

Sure, he reviews games no one actually cares about or are weeks old, is oblivious to multiplayer and generally seems to get it wrong some of the time but hell if I can get a couple of laughs from a 5 minute video a week I'm not complaining.
He's reviewed Assassin's Creed, Halo 3 in the past and Fallout 3, Fable 2 and Left 4 Dead recently. Those are big games that alot of people care about.
Also he's not attempting to get anything "right", he's expressing an opinion.
He reviews some big name games, but he also reviews plenty that no one cares about because they already know they're shit just to take the piss. When he does review well received games on the other hand he takes his bloody time, (L4D - 3 weeks late, F3 - 3 weeks late, AC - 3 weeks late ... you get the idea) by which point you'd expect a lot of gamers to have either finished them or be well on their way through them, making 'reviewing' them a wee bit pointless.
By get it wrong, I'm obviously referring to my opinion. I would preface all my comments with 'in my opinion', but that would be incredibly obnoxious not to mention redundant because it should already be readily apparent.
aw come on, you think everyone buys games within 2 weeks of release?

I went through and fixed all my ZPR videos. It looks like the Escapist changed the embeds or something...
In reply to this comment by gourmetemu:
No sir, thank you for fixing it.
In reply to this comment by Zifnab:
Thanks for the note, it's fixed now.

My pleasure, after all I wouldn't want a ZPR to go under-apprecaited

Hey, go fix your Zero Punctuation Fallout 3 vid, I posted a fix for ya in the comments . Gotta have our weekly ZPR review in the top 15
What motivates you to submit a video to VideoSift? (Sift Talk Post)
1. I like to think I make the internets a better place by submiting quality videos (because everyone needs an excuse for wasting all that time on one site)
2. sometimes I do fall for that "who'll submit this digg-ed video first" frenzy. it's that feeling you get when you beat Zifnab to the ZPR embed... not that I ever did, but it's the best example of what I'm trying to say. especially in the beginning when climbing the vs hierarchy was still fun (cause with each step you got new *toys, of course). but often it's not even intentional. I just happen to spend a lot of time browsing different video aggregators but I never post videos only because they're popular and I know they might get a lot of votes.
3. I post videos on topics I feel are not represented enough on the sift and/or stuff I like but nobody else seems to appreciate.
4. yes, I do. my themes are:
- flying (also an almost childish fascination with jet fighters)
- jazz musicians I really like
- good slovenian music
- other stuff that originates from my local background, geographicaly or otherwise; anything from music, cinema, arts to interesting sights... also a lot of Slavoj Žižek
5. not intentionaly. but then, maybe my videos do describe me better than my balkan english ever could (I feel awkward using english, that's why I usualy keep my comments short:)

Zero Punctuation - Mercenaries 2
I have to say, finally a funny ZPR after many weeks of sub-standard ones. It had me quite chortling.
Zero Punctuation - Mercenaries 2
I hate the bitchiness that comes with ZPR videos.
No one cares who posted it, nor should you care about posting it.. that's not what the sift is about.
