He’s mad BLM doesn’t support police? 🤦‍♂️

Black Lives Matter is a movement in response to police (including black police) acting like black lives don’t matter for most of the country’s history and blatantly murdering them in the streets in full public view or in their homes with no worry they might be punished.

But you want to pretend you think it’s a scam because it doesn’t support black police despite them being part of the problem, or because they haven’t tried to solve every single issue faced by “black America”.

They are a one issue organization, and they have made serious, unprecedented improvements on police accountability, but still have miles to go.

Odd you pick on BLM for anything you think you can…silliness like accusing them of not lifting all black Americans out of poverty with their donations…but when the Trumps take millions in donations, stealing directly from needy veterans, and hundreds of millions in political donations from donors and spend it on themselves that’s a nothingburger…and you still tell yourself it’s not because you’re racist, you aren’t racist, there must be some other difference….I got it, BLM isn’t grifting and stealing enough and it upsets you. Right? 😂

I love these views of magic from a different angle, and I've seen plenty of examples in real life. As Penn and Teller know, seeing how it's done is just as entertaining as not.

Good idea, but my parents would never have allowed that.

The house was a glass showcase, and my mom a perfectionist (which sucked to live under as a child). They paid a maintenance man to wash those windows regularly, a monumental task because some rooms like the living room had 20 ft ceilings with floor to ceiling glass walls! (Better, from the outside that room’s floor was 10+ ft off the ground, so he needed a 30 ft ladder!)
Just to attract more birds I guess, it also had a plant filled atrium in the center of the house with multiple full sized pine trees growing through the roof, so birds were tricked further into thinking nothing was there. My parents apparently didn’t consider the effects on wildlife when they built it, only their 360 degree views of it.

We moved out in around 82, and today it’s largely been rebuilt with a lot of the exterior glass removed.

It should not be legal for law enforcement to establish unions, and I'm pro-union. The police are the arm of governmental power, and policing in the US in general can be traced back to union-busting efforts.

If police unions had a history of fighting for issues that benefit society overall my view would likely be different, but they always seem to focus on eliminating accountability and supporting evil assholes.

why does this community continue to tolerate this level of bigotry as if it was a disagreement over ice cream flavours?

- handicapped rear view hanging fuzz-dice-type-o-things are transportable to folks using their autos to transport handicapped people.

- the light thing is somewhat negligible. in this neck-of-woods, lots of folks barely leave enough lights on to even note they're home.

- the 'mouth & heart' benefit is universal if one pays attention.

- they do have their own network...as in...those so blind they refuse to see (Rupe pluckin' those pigeons).

I got pulled over by the CHP for doing 110 outside King City in California.

The cop didn't even ask how fast I was going. He just said "110" and then he said "I'm going to write you up for 80 and save your license."

"Thank you, Officer." -- and I was sincere as fuck when I said it, too.

That was the last speeding ticket I got and it was over 20 years ago. Luckily, there was no cop around when I hit 140 on highway 237 outside Mountain View a week later. I miss the hell out of my Z-28!

I don't think indoctrination means what you think it means.

Showing that there are many variations of anything out there is not indoctrination. It helps kids know that if they don't feel the same way as other people that's ok.

Indoctrination is teaching one thing as the unquestionable truth, be it sexuality, religion, political view, or one of many other subjects.

Kids are indoctrinated all the time. This fights against that.
