Strombo is definitely one of the best interviewers on the planet right now. If you haven't seen it already, I would recommend you watch his interview with Bono. Bono ends up telling him, "George, I'm a fan."

I first heard him on The Lizard, a radio station in Kelowna, BC, but became a big fan once he moved to Much Music and he just keeps getting better.>> ^notarobot:

I used to watch him on Much music, he has grown in ten years. Bill walichka or whatnot, thats one Vjay you dont hear from anymore.

Haha Strombo kinda bugs me sometimes, but on the other hand he is a cool cat. Gotta love the way he brushes off Cross' negative, off-putting psychic buttspray at the beginning of the interview.

Re: Strombo (the host)'s last comment -
does he have it in for GreenPeace? Trying to point out hypocrisy from the environmental organisation because they didn't hand in forms for Because they're charged for not having handed in their oil spill papers?

I imagine the charges are repetitive- along the lines against protesters for "disturbing the peace" or "protesting without a permit"

If I was GreenPeace, I would expect to have a problem sending in papers when I'm in my boat chasing down the next Exxon Valdez...
