Just a little bit high... Penalty-Fail in Austria
Steve Perry... Steve Perry
Journey - Faithfully - with newest lead singer, Arnel Pineda
Hmmmm... I'll be honest, he's a good singer. But he just isn't Steve Perry.

Neither do I - though my friend said she can't stand to look at him in concert, but loves to hear him sing. She then thought to also note that she is "not racist." So I guess the Journey purists are just used to old ways

I don't get the controversy.
The guy sounds more like Steve Perry than Steve Perry does.
Rick Springfield Plays "Jessie's Girl" for his friend Jessie
It was awesome. I just think there are people on here who are younger, saying, "Who the hell is Rick Springfield? And who the hell is Journey?"
Right when Steve Perry's music started playing, I knew the song, and I started laughing hysterically.

How can I be the only person that finds this funny? Hell, even RS's vote was a pity vote.

RIP Luciano Pavarotti - Ave Maria
For me, that is by far the best of the Pavarotti clips posted in the last couple days. A popular song done incredibly well and without the silliness of trying to cross something like funk R&B with opera. Thanks tedbater. Could have done without the choir, but compared to him singing with everyone from J. Brown (who I adore) to Steve Perry, it's gold.
[shame about the audio clipping, but heh, it is the intertubes.]
Journey - Seperate Ways
Steve Perry has been replaced on their current concert tour with Def Leppard
