Mouse over a channel assignment when submitting a video and have a defined description of what that channel is for. Currently it only reads the channels "header". When I submit a video I put my mouse over the Audio check box and it says "soundsift" I think it should include a description of the channels use so people do not have to go back and forth making sure they have the right channel assigned instead of guessing.

Just had a great 5.0 idea.

When you are choosing from all the 40 channels or whatnot when submitting a video you can mouse over the box or the corresponding channel and it will say something like box- health mouse over- mind and body . One could expand these to include the entire channels description as written in the field. So people dont have to go to the specific channel to get the description.

I link over Audio ( my channel) and it says Soundsift. I think it should include a short description of what the channel is specifically for.

Why isn't this audiosift? Seems to meet the guidelines to me. What am I not understanding? @BoneRemake, as the keeper of the channel, is this audiosift?
I think what doogle was trying to say is this website is not audiosift. It used to be the general consensus, I think, that things which were not videos (eg: audio only or slideshows) do not belong on videosift.


Generally people say " WHAT IS THIS AUDIOSIFT ? " But I think you are spot on. This definitely belongs in Soundsift.

I am in brainstorming mode. *audio with a backsplash of Soundsift.

The technicals will be worked out at work tomorrow while I stare down a 6" water well timing the drop rate for an hour, and then the recovery for an hour.

ALL have to be taken into account for the description. I am not in a hurry, when I build a House I build it out of bricks.
