That's the same method I use to get down ski slopes.

I was puzzled as i was imagining that in the northern regions and mountains (like ski slopes) there'd be lots of snow, so the novelty of it would have worn off on people.

Basically you guys rock, life gives you snow, you make snowballs!

Reminds me of the last year of my grandmother's life. She had gotten a bit senile, was wearing my cousin's ski hat and parka because she was cold, standing with her walker, looking as if she was about to take to the ski slopes any second. My family just laughed and laughed, took photos of her, while she just stood there oblivious.

Ah, the aged. If only we were all so lucky to live as long.

I performed some of these when I was overcome by gravity on a double-diamond ski slope last week, although I didn't stick my landing. Nevertheless, I was given a perfect 10 by my fellow skiers who helped clean up the trail of debris.

The 2 dollars reference is from the movie "Better Off Dead" (John Cusak). John's character is harassed throught the movie by a paperboy who's trying to collect his money. It's a recurring gag---the paperboy chases him through a carwash, through a park, and toward the end, down a ski slope when John is racing the jock (on one ski!)
