I love John K, particularly his classic Ren and Stimpy stuff, but his animation style is just getting quirkier and quirkier. It's borderline self-parody at this point.

Up until this point, I really don't think the administration "got" Colbert's brand of satire/humor. Seems they thought it was "harmless" self-parody. I bet they know now.

Actually, these clips and this song is just from Desperado, but one of Antonio Banderas' fellow mariachi players played the part of El Mariachi in the original.

All of the music and parts of Desperado were so fantastic; Robert Rodriguez will be great when he outgrows his fanboy instincts which lead him into self-parody.

The Matador was an *AWESOME* movie.
IMHO the Bond flicks had become a big huge self-parody - perhaps this'll make it sufficiently hardcore to be interesting again.
