101 Great Movie Villains

HugeJerk says...

Planet Terror was great, Deathproof was 95% girls spewing out ill-fitting Tarantino Dialog and 5% car chase.>> ^chingalera:

Any villain list without Rutger Hauer's Hitcher is incomplete. Also, Death Proof is an awful movie and nobody should be reminded of it.

I really liked Deathproof!

Yes ma'am, Deathproofs' a piece of work, HugeJerk knows nothing!!

Ohh, I want to be in the "I hate people" club too.. happy happy joy joy.
terrible

I thought you were the chairman of that club.
And it's not terrible, it's a parody of 70s grindhouse movies. A good one at that.

1) I only hate specific people.

2) "Parody of 70s grindhouse movies" AKA terrible.

Planet Terror - Fergie gets what she deserves

Summer blockbuster: Megashark vs. Giant Octopus!

budzos says...

This looks fucking lame in the same way Snakes on a Plane was lame (and sort of the way Death Proof/Planet Terror are lame). B movies are enjoyable because they think they're good movies. When someone sets out to make something deliberately shlocky, well that's about as awesome as the McRib coming back... seems pretty good until you actually do consume it and then you realize you're just a marketing victim!

Ultimate Action Women Tribute

EDD says...

Very nice sift indeed, although I believe Xena needed more screen time in it, and there was definitely too much or Rose McGowan. Yes, I won't say it outright sucked, but Planet Terror was nowhere near as good as it should've been.

The Top 10 Movie Weapons of All Time (Cinema Talk Post)

choggie says...

Cherry Darling's machine-gun leg in "Planet Terror" was pretty cool....
The vials of vampire toxin in "Blade"...
The frikkin' hovering stainless-steel death ball from "Phantasm" still makes me wet the trousers.....
oh, the laser, death-grid from Resident Evil
OH! that crappy film with Emilio Estevez about the global warming aliens??....that damn house-wrecking vortex ball from that POS movie.....

and my personal fav, Savini's vigilante Mariachi crotch-revolver in, "From Dusk Till Dawn."

Resident Evil: Extinction (Cinema Talk Post)

choggie says...

were talkin' cinema here, and I must agree with lucky, best of the 3-ooooh, and I just saw Planet Terror-Yay for that gal with the gunleg-real goopy-gorey, B-flick a roo- B-zombie action, and that tramp from the black-eyed peas gets her innards et, after she's roadkill....ewwww!
