My bad, it's fixed now. Wow really thought it was Phish, probably because it's all over the web as being a Phish song. Not sure as to why it has been associated that way however.

Its a virus that is designed to bypass IE explorer add blockers, and redirects you to a Phishing attack site.

Seems to affect IE explorer the most.

Most of you tubes embeds are infected.

This one just broke out today, it installs Antivirus 2009, bogus software (mal ware).

Phish and Jay-z are terrible. Ok not terrible, but trey, although a great guitarist, has a shitty voice, and rap is terrible live. (except for maybe the roots and aesop rock).

I would love to see how a Jay-Z crowd would react if Phish returned the favor. These are some of the whitest guys on the planet... damn good on their instruments though. Great sift, nice promote.

This is a security feature for FF3 (IE>7 has it too, IIRC). Basically it's saying that the Common Name (CN) of the SSL Certificate doesn't match the hostname of the webserver you're accessing. Thus alerting you to something that may be a phishing attempt.

In the case of videosift the problem is that the SSL Certificate is for www.videosift.com and the channels are (geek|comedy|whatever).videosift.com, thus the names don't match and you get the error.

Granted it's annoying but the FF developers probably had their heart in the right place when they implemented this (forcing you to take manual action and think about what you're doing, not just clicking away a warning dialog without looking at it). Of course the Firefox people probably didn't think about the amount of tech knowledge endusers have. Who are of course confused by the error message .
