Great story, I grew up eating out of wooden bowls, not hand turned I' guessing, but you can't beat muesli in a wooden bowl, it's like the difference between eating rice with a fork or chopsticks, it's just better with chopsticks. It's impressive that he decided to forgo electricity too, props good sir.

I guess it can be considered a cereal, just like porridge. In everyday speech however, one generally refers to porridge and muesli specifically when describing ones breakfast.

well, i'm from switzerland and i didn't know they even made this ad in english. i thougt, this campain was mainly focused on germany. but anyway, be sure, soccer and the world cup are a big if not the biggest issue here. the swiss team qualified for the first time since 1994. as a consequence everybody feels entitled to do soccer related commercials and ads. this one - even if "negative" is rather outstanding and creative. they try to sell everything from muesli to mortgages referring to soccer. believe me, after some time you're fed up but by the way: the guy with the cow was really "mister switzerland" 2005. interesting fact: before he became a farmer (yes, he knows how to treat a cow), he almost became a professional soccer player...
