Some of us may not be around for a while. (Blog Entry by UsesProzac)
Never played an MMORPG in my life. Probably never will. But, although I will be sad to see you leave, you big nerd, I am sure Sarzy is not. Won't you blow him a kiss before you leave (and not the chunky kind from your wazzit, if you get my meaning).
New Warhammer Online Cinematic Trailer.. WAAAGH!
This looks amazing. Too bad playing an MMORPG is NOTHING like this.
Zero Punctuation - EVE Online
Great review. It felt very short, but there's not much to say about EVE. It makes space look very pretty, its interface looks like it was designed by ex-Microsoft Excel programmers, and its boring as fuck. After all this time, why hasn't someone put out a half-decent space MMORPG?
Zero Punctuation - EVE Online
I've never been much interested in other MMOPRGs. I have my hands full with this one.
Zero Punctuation - EVE Online
Totaly right and totally wrong.
It is boring boring boring if you play missions for 14 days and expect that to be it. The skills are so many that you dont know where to begin. The character creation thing is truly pointless.
But the rewards are so massive compare to what other games offer. It takes way longer than 14 days to get into the game and belive it or not, the game is built for those people who spend most of their waking hours running a corp. Its those people that make the game awsome!
Glad I ditched that crack years ago. Still the only real mmorpg game released since Ultima Online.

Everything in moderation SG, I am speaking of the extremes, I play the damn things ever once inna while, too.....How about playing a MMORPG for 3-6 hrs daily, when not watching television, or using it to drive the X-box?? Combined with a palrty fat and sodium rich diet, and the limited physical activity that accompanies this lifestyle, and about 8 hrs in a public school???...Then you end up with an adult that is worth fuck-all.....unhealthy, insectoid if their lucky, able to leap from paycheck to paycheck, in a spirit bound......I suggest more teens go camping, get naked, and eat mushrooms, and that young adults who find themselves out in their own for the first time, completely divorce themselves from any forms of media that they do not program themselves, and for crissakes, read some esoteric literature or reference.....Bone up on the planetary experience ya cretins, make some waves!!
Fucking team fortress, fucking GTA, fucking imbeciles.......Stretch Yer Brains OUT...these "skills" you have are useless indulgences in hind-brain tunnels, and deleterious to the very nature of being....

Two cents worth considering-The time wasted by children, teens, and fucking adults, sitting in front of a television (other people's programming) is dwarfed only by the time wasted in front of a Telescreen attached to a fucking X Box, Playstation, or a goddamn computer mmorpg....socialization is the issue for me, and modern society's creating some Fuuuuucked up personality disorders and functionally bereft addditions.....cloistered in small huddles in dingy fucking living rooms, dysfunctional children from dysfunctional parents, feed their minds this craptacular, ocular and aural shit, in unhealthy amounts.....notwithstanding, the subject of the hours of meditation on images of carnage or of planting seeds in fairy-land fer crissakes, is a mind-numbing, and counter-productive romp for a mind already running at a limited capacity, unexercized and inna modus of atrophy and abandonment......So yeah, fucking video games, are fucking toxic, in the amounts most of the fans, proponents, and defenders of the things tend to absorb....fer crissakes, get creative ya cretins.....
If you think my assessment s wrong, yer a fucking idiot, and your pathetic arguments fall like a limp dick onna geriatric.....

Does this mean were on the cusp of a GTA-MMORPG? Where everyone lives in a city and fends for themselves?
Um, wait....
Age of Conan -- Zero Punctuation Review
To anyone who hates the way he pronounces MMORPG, think of this: he repeats it about a hundred times in three minutes. Would you want to repeat those initials at that rapid pace for three minutes? Your tongue would rip itself out of your mouth and languish in a bloody mess on the floor.
Zero Punctuation Review: Alone in the Dark
Any MMORPG necessarily has a real time inventory system and it doesn't bother me too much. I guess MMORPGs are played on PCs, with a mouse, and that makes inventory management much easier?
Kids unable to answer simple video game question...
Isn't Chains of Promethia an expansion for the MMORPG version (FFXI)? That's kind of obscure even for hardcore adult fans.
Suggestion: Power Points awarded according to activity (Sift Talk Post)
Let's please not turn this into an MMORPG. All gold-50 stars and above are created equal by our lord SiftBot.
NSA spying on World of Warcraft and Second Life users
>> ^Krupo:
Is Second Life really in the same league as WoW?
They're not even close. WOW has over 10 times as many active subscribers and seems to be growing at a much faster rate:

I can't wait until the mainstream media calls MMORPG dungeon raids "Terrorist Assault Simulators" like FPS became "Murder Simulators."

Shred your tax dollars.
At least you'll be safe in the knowledge that the government won't know you have a fetish for playing scantily clad femme fatales in fantasy MMORPGs.
In For a Penny (IFAP) Prologue -- A WoW Machinima.
This is cool.
But saddly wow will die like all other MMORPG's do.
