Megyn Kelly Loses it When the Obama Camp Calls Out Fox

T-man says...

The issue here is that Fox ran a tag while discussing this "issue" that stated "Obama: 'A tragedy' Supreme Court hasn't addressed wealth redistribution." Which is an outright lie! Obama never said that. He said the tragedy of the civil rights movement was that they used the courts too much!

See Media Matters for more info.

And if you want to hear Obama having in-depth, rational discussions about serious issues, go to WBEZ's website. If Obama wins, it's going to be quite refreshing to have a president who can discuss complex issues at this level.

Bill O'Reilly amazed that Black restaurant is civilized

choggie says...

Media Matters and organizations like it do more harm than good, if fact, "good" is a meaningless idea for these whores of their backers.(Soros)-Just like Bill O-I see nothing but two diversions, one in the form of a loud, obnoxious idiot white man, and the other a group of agenda-oriented, angry, unactualized white folks, being used as prawns.....both are poison.
Every one of George's little store fronts on the internet, have the same smell of subterfuge, bastardization of semantics, and unconsciousness....

Stupid In America (40 min)

Farhad2000 says...

In January 2006, Stossel presented a 20/20 special titled "Stupid in America: How We Cheat Our Kids," in which he argued that the public school system is ineffective in teaching students and that the U.S. should instead move to a voucher system. Stossel presented charter schools that were doing well and claimed that charter schools are generally better than public schools.

The progressive media watchdog group Media Matters contends that Stossel ignored research by the Department of Education which shows that public schools are actually outperforming charter schools on standardized tests and that Stossel interviewed eight advocates of school choice but only two opponents. In response, Stossel points out that students in America still lag behind those in less developed countries that spend less money on education, and that this gap widens by 12th grade. He further notes that the Department of Education study, which was adjusted for demographics, itself admits that "to ascertain the difference between the two types of schools, an experiment would be conducted in which students are assigned [randomly] to either public or private schools".

CNN's Beck to 1st US Muslim congressman: not our enemy?

Wumpus says...

About your title, I'm trying to figure out why we need to ask the question about whether or not he is an enemy. Since that was never Beck's intention, I don't know why that was ever in question. Being someone who saw the whole interview, I have to side with pho3n1x's observation.

And on a side note, whenever I see the Media Matters tag on anything, I immediately think ulterior motive, but that's just me.

Krupo says...

Um, I don't think I understand your question Wumpus; there's nothing that Media Matters is hiding - they just put the transcript up and I was giving them credit - does that make sense?

This is almost deserving of a comedy tag if it wasn't so insane - found courtesy of Kelly linking to Media Matters.

[Obvious comedy bit posted here]

He actually asks him the following question:

ELLISON: How you doing, Glenn? Glad to be here.

BECK: Thank you. I will tell you, may I -- may we have five minutes here where we're just politically incorrect and I play the cards face up on the table?

ELLISON: Go there.

BECK: OK. No offense, and I know Muslims. I like Muslims. I've been to mosques. I really don't believe that Islam is a religion of evil. I -- you know, I think it's being hijacked, quite frankly.

With that being said, you are a Democrat. You are saying, "Let's cut and run." And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, "Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies."

And I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.

FOXNews rallies behind Wallace, attacks Clinton- spin!spin!

Wumpus says...

"I HATE FOXNEWS!!!!! How can these people live with themselves?????"

I get such a laugh everytime I hear someone say something like this. Just because FOX doesn't play by the same rules as CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC et al., they all accuse them of being slanted, in the tank, racist or whatever. Of course it doesn't mater that FOX beats them all in ratings every night of the week, I'm sure their indignation is purely professional in the principles of broadcast journalism..

Secondly, they WERE legitimate questions and it's obvious that he doesn't like talking about it. I'm not glossing over the fact that both Clinton and Bush have made their mistakes, but Clinton continually gets the soft treatment from the media. He accused the interview of being a Republican hit job and his behavior shows nothing less of a temper tantrum on camera. I don't remember there being this kind of a reaction when Matt lauer questions Bush about torture.

Lastly, watching this should give you an aneurysm, considering it comes from Media Matters.
