Hugh Laurie on Late Late Show, interview and epic win!
>> ^lavoll:
fun interview, but what is the "epic win"?
Hugh wins the golden mouth organ at the end, in general it's just a 'win', but the 'epic' lures more viewers and looks nicer.
Where Jon Stewert got the idea for TDS... wait no.
>> ^kagenin:
Kilborn kept his "5 Questions" segment when he was hosting The Late Late Show (After Tom Snyder, before Craig Ferguson - oddly enough, Jon Stewart was a common stand-in for Tom Snyder).
It seems Kilborn can't keep a job because he tends to be rather tactless in interviews when talking about his writers.
Saying that your hot head writer would Blow you if you asked her to. Yep that's rather tactless.

He should have tried turning it off and on again.
Did you try rebooting 3 times?
Have you confirmed that it's plugged in?

Aah, Luddites... where would we be without them?
Heh, he's not that much of a Luddite -- he knew that that mistaking the screen saver for a crash was pretty sad.

Stephen Fry on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
>> ^harry:
Seeing this combination... I guess Ferguson seems one of the few British comedians to cross over? Maybe Simon Pegg and Ricky Gervais count as well, but it does suddenly strike me how little overlap there is between British and American comedy.
EDIT: And Hugh Laurie.
I don't think that Craig Ferguson was particularly popular in the UK, at least not outside Scotland. I (from the UK) hadn't heard of him before seeing him on VS. Looking on Wikipedia, it seems that he had a TV programme made over here, but only a one off pilot that didn't make it to a series.
