Here is the truth:
this is a small school in a some area in KSA which wanted to give condolences to the royal family. Thus coming up with this not so brilliant idea. and how the hell do you think that this place is the royal palace ?!? have you ever seen a place that looks like this? its a public school. I'm not very fond of the idea but the thought is what counts.

The first comment in Arabic that I saw was along the lines of "epic fail" (and the others weren't translatable by google translate).

Friends were telling you about Saudi Arabia. The UAE is one of the most liberal states in the GCC far more then Kuwait along with Bahrain. Men and women are allowed to mingle freely, there is alot of foreigners who are allowed to drink alcohol in complete contrast with even Kuwait. The vice police you talk about is in Saudi Arabia who will beat women when they congregate with men who are not relatives, when without family man, and even convict women for crimes when they are raped by other men. With regards to religious extremism in Europe ha! That's less to do with religion then with anti-reactionary attitude against immigrants who are coming into the nation. Every anti western cleric has been deported from the UK. You know what else you got after 7/11 British Government encroachments on personal freedoms, go near any US airfield, you will be arrested, protest near parliament, you will be arrested. Western world has invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, both nations are still worse off. Both invasions has pushed massive refugees into other states. Palestinians are still getting killed as are civilians in both conflict zones. You know that US Forces up until the Battle of Haditha looked at civilian casualties as normal events in a time of war?

1 was Lebanese.
1 was from Egypt.

No body ever asks why the country from which most of the hijackers came from never gets questioned. Obviously because one doesn't fool around with the oil supply coming to the US from KSA. But either way one can't keep seeking scapegoats for what basically was and is a misguided foreign policy.
