I don't get the big deal. People ask for stupid things to be done to their remains, including things that they think will give the everlasting life (albeit in heaven). What happened was ONE line in the city advanced for the Russians about 500 yards, while multiple, nearly all others retreated the same distance or more, some by kilometers.
