Proud member of Pirateparty here Unfortunately i have to vote for the left party as Pirateparty can seriously get only one representative from Helsinki and voting them here up north is worse than useless.. But i'm guessing Hansi gets thru, we like him

Yeah, must be Helsinki or near there, long day for being the darkest of winter. We get about five hours of "light" in Kuopio on the shortest day, barely gets over the horizon. Compare that to over 20 hours of sunshine, and very bright 3+ hours on the brightest day. And people wonder why I have seasonal depression.

Yeah, in Uppsala, not in Stockholm. Allthou i guess i's just easier if every town in Sweden is Stockholm and Finland has only Helsinki...

There is some statistical evidence of helmets improving safety. For example, a Cochrane review found that "Helmets reduce bicycle-related head and facial injuries for bicyclists of all ages involved in all types of crashes, including those involving motor vehicles."

Ice and snow? Are you a geographer or a meteorologist? That's quite an ignorant assumption. I haven't been there, but I live in Canada and people often assume that it never gets warm enough to take off my parka. The southern tip of Finland is still north from my parallel, but they have water slide parks and long summer days. Look up vesiliukumäki!

Yeah, you would think that Finland is all about polar bears and reindeer, but right now it's actually so hot that people are practically boiling out here!
