Love Song For A Vampire - Annie Lennox

Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins are usually great in whatever they do, and agreed Keanu Reeves fucked things up with his dodgy performance. In my opinion this film could have been miles better, Winona Ryder was crappy in it too. Having said that, it's still worth watching

Keannu Reaves was the only thing I had a problem with in the film. Don't mind the guy, it's just that playing a Brit was not something he could pull off.

Gary Oldman was brilliant as Dracula, though. So was Hopkins for Van Helsing.

On the Set of True Romance

Stoner Brad's Directions-Alternate Take

It's True Romance. Released in Fall of 1993. At one time it was my favourite film. It's written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott, and has, among others Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Christian Slater, Bronson Pinchot, Brad Pitt, Tom Sizemore, Chris Penn, Val Kilmer, James Gandolfini, Patricia Arquette... needless to say, just about the greatest cast ever in a crime movie.

I sort of killed it for myself by watching it about thirty times. It's a good date movie if your chick can tolerate some highly graphic gunplay. It seems to get chicks hot more than any other movie in my experience. I suppose that's because, despite all the profanity and viscera, at the core it really is a "True Romance."

Léon - The Professional (music video)

Farhad2000 says...

Really thought this was a well edited video compared to the other crap on YouTube. And I do mean crap. These 3, all use the same scene, the same music and practically the same cuts.

Léon (aka The Cleaner, The Professional, or Léon the Professional) is a 1994 film written and directed by French director Luc Besson. It stars Jean Reno and Gary Oldman, as well as Natalie Portman in her first starring role.

Léon is to some extent an English-language variation on the theme of Besson's earlier film, Nikita. Besson has said he considers Jean Reno's character of Léon to be a more human "cousin" of Victor in Nikita.[1] According to Luc Besson's first script-draft, the hitman's full name is Leone Montana (making him of Italian origin), abbreviated to Léon. The acute accent is due to the influence of Besson's mother-tongue, French.

Leon is a shape of my heart

These are clips from the French film "Leon" which was released in the US as "The Professional" (1994):

from Netflix:

Leon (Jean Reno) is the top hit man in New York -- also known as a "cleaner." When his next-door neighbors are wiped out by a loose-cannon DEA agent (Gary Oldman), Leon becomes the unwilling custodian of 12-year-old Mathilda (Natalie Portman). Before long, Mathilda's thoughts turn to revenge, and she considers following in Leon's footsteps. Gritty and unflinching, The Professional packs a powerful punch.
