I'm not sure what the "false" accusations are as they have yet to be challenged. Do they regard B. Hussein Obama? If it's O-bam's socialism, his voting record is available for perusal. If it's his alliance with his victim-based "church" it's now been done to death. He has stated that as President, he'd meet with Iranian Ahmedinnerjacket, as if this will somehow change the heart of that modern-day would-be Hitler. None of the factual basis for my opinions is in dispute, is it? O-bam himself has to downplay his ultraliberalism because Americans don't buy that baloney when it's not obfuscated.

I'm amused by the whole cognitive dissonance thingy, since liberals are #1 when it comes to "CD". Basic proven cause-and-effect equations like Lower taxes = more tax revenue, More guns = less crime, Strong military = less tyranny just haven't arrived at DNC headquarters. They're too busy sorting everyone by race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. to have unity, and there's only so many hours in a day to explain that the reason "the rich" get the tax cuts is because they're the ones paying the most in taxes.

I'll tell you some ways I do have CD that the liberalsift majority does not. When I like a sift, I upvote it on its merit, even if I disagree 100% with the submitter. I also very rarely downvote comments directed at my comments. I'm used to the blacklisting, and I know it goes on because the sifts I submit are apolitical 98% of the time.

After doing a bit of research on this subject, I've had a bit of a change of heart. I still don't think that this even remotely qualifies as fascism or totalitarianism (!) but I agree enough with the video now to upvote it.

I don't know, but I suspect this guy might be expressing a huge change of heart. He seems like millions of Americans who were once certain that homosexuals were perverted fringe elements with no right to the "sacrament" of marriage. Now, the humanity of his constituents who love someone of their own sex has been brought home to him, and he has to align his actions with his conscience. Having to go back on a campaign promise as part of a change of conscience strikes me as pretty emotional. For all he knows, he is committing political suicide; I'm sure he's going to get some emotional and hate-filled responses--probably some of the respondents will question his own sexuality.

A similar change happened to my own father, who was an avowed "homo-hater" until a couple of his best friends got AIDS, came-out as gay, and yet continued to be the men he had always known.

I think this video shows the quiet heroism that is the force for social change.

Also... this story of the old testament god vs new testament god, is the sole evidence that god does not exist.
