The Republican party as even republicans are realizing is not a political party at all. No one has a voice in them but the super rich. Either way, public schools aren't free. What gave you that idea? Every tax-paying citizen is forced to fund public schools, and education for children is compulsory. That means, this woman had to educate her child through the public school system because I doubt paying for private school was an option for someone who's destitute. The government then criminalized her for playing by their rules.
But, no, go ahead and make this a straw man argument against private schools.

I've got nothing against private schools. I went to private schools for parts of my schooling. I'm just calling you out on the fact that the only thing you seem capable of doing is saying "lol government sucks" (It does, frequently. It does, here.) without ever, ever suggesting an alternative. By painting this as a 'lol statist idiots', with your definition of 'statist' is 'anything involving the state, even when they're behaving the most like private industry', the alternative is private schools. Right?
Or are you suggesting that some outside entity created for the common good ought to fund schooling for everybody? Is that your argument?


I wasn't comparing private to public. I didn't say anything about private schools actually - you did. But since you keep bringing it up, I'll say this. The government forces taxpayers to pay for the schools and then makes education compulsory. So, when they make mistakes like this, which is a pretty fucking horrendous, they need to have their noses rubbed in it. That's where I come in with my obligatory 'lol statist idiots' comments.

Say what you will about private schools. At least they don't force anyone to attend, and then make them criminals for doing so. That's the kind of deep buttfucking only your beloved statism could deliver.

The first thing that sucks about blankfist is his L.A. residency, one of the worst cities this side of the Mason-Dixon line. He fits right into this pretentious asshole heaven by letting us know that, the first time he tasted acceptance, was for an "audience vote" his "second year" in "film school". This fucking douche-bag can't even make it five paragraphs without name-dropping, himself!
The second thing that sucks about blankfist is that he has a cat named Maceo. That is so fucking lame. Only cheese-dicks and 12 year old school girls belong to this club, although, it's often difficult to pinpoint which one of these blankfist belongs to.
The third thing that sucks about blankfist is that he thinks Spider-Man's web slinging ability is a power. Even fucking D.C. fans know the score on this.
The fourth thing that sucks about blankfist is that he left Kronoposeidon alone to raise their son. He still sends wish-you-were-here-sunset postcards, but he hasn't used his pay phone on Venice Beach to reach them for some time now.
Blankfists' one way of rebelling comes from posting cat fart videos as an anonymous user on a superb, yet underground, website. He is a tame conformist who is an essential member of VideoSift and I hate having him here.

Private healthcare is insane. QM and the others who drank this piss from the corrupt assholes who runs the US, and gets buttfucked by the medical industry (as well as the cigarette industry, the oil industry, and every other industry) on a daily basis: Wake up people, its all fucking LIES. lies and scare tactics, thats what you are being fed. You will NOT drown in taxes with "socialized medicine" you wont wait in endless lines, and no, people will not say "screw my health, others will pay for it", anymore than they set their houses on fire just to see the fire-brigade come running.

I live in a country where all healthcare is free, ie: paid for by public means, and fuck all if I'd trade it for your system. I've never been admitted to a hospital in my adult life, but my share of taxes that go to save other peoples lives, I'll pay with a smiling face, infact, the safety of healthcare is pretty much the best reason I can think of to pay taxes at all.

Is our system perfect? hell no, probably never will be,but nobody has to sell their house or live on the street as a result of getting cancer. To me, thats proof enough that there is atleast a little fairness in the madness.
