AEROSMITH-train kept a rollin (LIVE 2004)
The first concert I went to. 1974 at Portland Intrnational Speedway. Bachman-Turner Overdrive was the headliner, But Areosmith was up first and stole the show. They came out and rocked non stop their whole set, I liked them before, and have been a big fan ever since.
On a side note: A band called Journey was the warm-up, They got shouted off the stage with"BTO..BTO" and "AREOSMITH!!!" over and over. I thought they really sucked ass. Turns out they really do . oh sherry..:/

I was surprised that they didnt forget the words halfway through.
They didn't suffer from performance anxiety?
not to judge, but most all Canadians I know dont actually know the Canadian anthem. it always starts off strong ! and FREE.. flowing but gets intertwined with lyrics from stepenwolf and bto, Bryan Adams etc..
Just honestly most people dont know their countries anthems words.

Prodigy vs. Enya - Smack Up the Orinoco Flow
I'm listening to this, and I'm hearing Ain't Seen Nothin Yet by BTO. Kinda like when you hear that Da-Da-Da song by Trio and hear La Bamba in it.
So, I'd be interested in hearing the Bachman Enya Overdrive Ain't Sailed Nothin Yet. They share the notes.

Bachman Turner Overdrive - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
The story behind the song, from wiki...."You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" was written by Randy Bachman as a joke for his brother, George. George had a stutter and Randy only intended to record it once with a stutter and send the only recording to George.
Randy developed the song while recording BTO's third album, Not Fragile. It began as an instrumental piece inspired by the rhythm guitar of Dave Mason. Randy says "it was basically just an instrumental and I was fooling around... I wrote the lyrics, out of the blue, and stuttered them through."
But when winding up production for their second album, Charlie Fach of Mercury Records said the eight tracks they had lacked the "magic" that would make a hit. Randy mentioned that he had this ninth song, but didn't intend to have it played. He said, "We have this one song, but it's a joke. I'm laughing at the end. I sang it on the first take. It's sharp, it's flat, I'm stuttering to do this thing for my brother."
Fach asked to hear it, and they played the recording for him. Fach smiled and said "That's the track. It's got a brightness to it. It kind of floats a foot higher than the other songs when you listen to it.-here's where wiki-boy cut and pasted fromhttp://www.superseventies.com/sw_youaintseennothinyet.html
Juno Award for best-selling single of 1974.
Billboard-"You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" debuted at number 65 on September 21, 1974, and moved to the top of the Hot 100 seven weeks later. It was the first and only chart-topper for BTO.

Live Overdrive-BTO on the Midnight Special-(1978)
My ex-travel agent's husband played bass for BTO. So there.
Lifeguard - Jim Carey and Will Ferrell
Yeah, you're right- just my $.02. I'm Canadian, Eh?, and like most Canadians we seem to have an active dislike of many of our cultural exports- Corey Hart, Celine Dion, Brian Adams, Jim Carrey, Pamela Anderson, Keanu Reeves, Nickleback -the list goes on.
Some exceptions: BTO, William Shatner, Rich Little, Paul Anka, Alexander Graham Bell, the entire cast of SCTV- this list goes on as well.
But as for Jim Carrey, I stand by my original assertion.
