Florida DUI suspect arrested after threatening deputies PT1

newtboy says...

Almost 3 hours in total!?! Not without LOTR level effects, thanks.
He couldn’t be out of control enough to maintain my interest that long, even at double speed.
Edit: OK, part 2 is just the other cop’s body cam, so little new besides the car ride. Still, way too long to watch his brand of crazy…he’s just not inventive or interesting enough….he just wants to fuck everyone in the ass then kill them…try some variety buddy.
There’s no condensed version, or time stamp list of when the action is @BSR? I skipped through at 2x speed and still feel like I watched too much.
I do like that he got a separate charge of harassing a police K9 for threatening to fuck the dog in the ass.
Those cops were amazingly professional all things considered.
Follow-up court videos needed. They’ll be fun.

Side note- the biggest crime was the quality of his weed…now living in the sticky icky capital of the world, Humboldt County, I forget that so many risk so much to smoke the shittiest brick weed. It’s so sad. I was one of them once.

Bonus- Today we got the body cam footage of the 2021 arrest of Donald Trump’s top lawyer and closest advisor Boris Epshteyn for unwanted repeatedly groping numerous women in a Scottsdale Arizona club for which he took a plea deal for 5 days in jail, fines, probation, no contact orders, and must complete an alcohol abuse program…similar charges to his 2014 arrest for “assault touching” at another nearby club when he made a plea deal including fines, community service, and multiple no contact orders to avoid trial. 😂

Another top MAGA advisor caught for multiple sex crimes.
Did you look up GOP operative and major donor Anton Lazzaro, who identifies and empathizes with Trump’s friend Epstein, who he calls “his brother”?
https://www.justice.gov/usao-mn/pr/anton-tony-lazzaro-sentenced-21-years-prison-child-sex-trafficking 😂
What do you expect when your leader is a confirmed rapist!?! 😂 (reminding you of that will NEVER get old)

Now that the body cam and secret service footage of the brutal terrorist MAGA attack against Pelosi has been viewed in court, and his confession, and they are all exactly what was reported by real media (not the fake news you enjoy), a break in and brutal attack against an innocent 82 year old man by a stranger, are you prepared to retract your blatantly homophobic insulting charge that it was a homosexual lover’s spat between the Senator’s husband and the typically violent nutjob MAGgot?

Of course not, you don’t care a bit about being correct, moral, or civil ever, just about being the biggest rancid douche bag possible at all times. Why is that?

Bodycam Moment Deputy Suffers Panic Attack While Armed

newtboy says...

This is why it’s correct to say ALL cops are criminals.
The department didn’t do a background check or would have known he was fired twice.
The department never investigated this attempted murder by a cop.
The cop was never charged, not for attempted murder, not for filing false police reports, not for reckless endangerment, not even for lying on his application to be a police officer. He walked with the departments blessing.
He’s probably a cop somewhere today.

The cops charged the couple with class C felonies, lied about what had happened, and hid the officers actions until court where they were forced to provide evidence (which they likely tried to withhold), evidence that completely contradicted every claim they had made against the couple.
The DA went along with those false charges despite having this evidence.
They were held 42 days in the jail run by the same cops making up false charges before their court case was heard, not a maximum of 10 which is Tennessee state law.
If their lawyer hadn’t gotten the body cam footage, those innocent people would be spending 15 years in prison for crimes everyone involved knew were false charges based solely on the lying cop’s word and his superiors support….not one cop came forward to say so. Every single one was complicit.

Every cop is a violent thug that kidnaps and tortures the innocent, or one that stands between them and justice, protecting their criminal cohorts. Every single one, not one good apple in the country or they would stop their gang from being the worst violent murderous criminal gang in the country.

Proof you don’t need to “fuck around” with cops to be their victim, @bobknight33. EMT almost died twice for helping the cop.

Man Who Shot At Police In Self Defense Is Acquitted

newtboy says...

*dead
Age restricted by YouTube.

Side note, 5 years after an unarmed man was shot 76 times (shot at over 100 times) by police, two officers have finally been indicted for his murder. (Turns out two of those shots came from directly above his dead body….mafia execution style)
The previous DA claimed the local police were working with federal marshals, whose policy is to not allow body cameras, and they always follow that rule, so there was no body cam footage, and under Trump the US marshals refused to cooperate, so he had no evidence with which to prosecute. That changed.

Felony murder, aggravated assault, burglary, making false statements, and violation of oath by a police officer. I hope they both get the death penalty and get no protection in prison. Maybe they can get raped to death….still too good for their ilk.

What "defund the police" really means

newtboy says...

Thank you....accepted.

The "no good cop" part is right...it's not guilt by association though, it's guilt by being complicit, not turning them in, turning a blind eye, lying to protect the "bad apples"...being accessories after the fact is criminal. Yes, failure to clean their own house makes them bad cops. That's fixable, but only if they clean house...the best, easiest, most thorough way would be fire them all and only reinstate those with clean records, those with complaints need retraining at the least before being police again, many need to be fired. Not perfect, but better than most suggestions imo.
Edit: I do like the suggestion to make it the law that they must intervene if another cop is out of control, and must report it. I also support body cams that can't be turned off, but I want covering them or taking them off to be a felony.

I did say fire them all....but also said to hire them back. That gives us an opportunity to say 'this guy has 27 complaints and 3 multi-million dollar settlements paid out, he's not cop material'. Union rules won't let cops be fired even for cause most times, and absolutely won't allow a national registry of criminal cops. Those facts need to change if the culture is to change.

I agree, there are those few out there advocating no police....I'm just not one of them.

I'm of the opinion that if we keep any of the bad apples, nothing else matters, they'll corrupt the rest. The best way to save the bunch is remove any apples that even LOOK bad....that may leave us with a massive shortage, but that's FAR better than the criminal force we have today, no? One bad apple spoils the bunch...I wish those crying about a just few bad apples understood the phrase they're parsing.

Nothing will satisfy EVERYONE, but it actually takes very little to placate most mobs, just the suggestion that they've been heard is often enough, and why things got so bad. Too often "we hear you" is the only reform, and even that is forgotten as soon as the streets are cleared. I hope this time is different, but I'm not holding my breath.

Apologies, didn't mean to misrepresent you. We've debated things before and you seemed to lean to no cop is a good cop because there are so many bad ones guilt be association and failure to clean things up makes them all bad. You'd also said up thread to fire all active officers.

I'll cease trying to word how you feel on it, I just wanted to demonstrate by counter example that not everybody means 'reform' when they say "defund". At a minimum , the degree of 'reform' varies from change some laws and regulations to fire them and start over from scratch.

My comment of being ruled by our 'betters' was meant as a sarcastic dig on them and their abject failure in letting things rot this far and doing nothing.

Finally, my comment on public opinion on solutions being non-uniform was mostly to emphasize that as just normal, and the current status quo is just so unacceptable that it is unifying people from varied points of view to stand up against it. The most important point being that declaring, see nothing will satisfy the mob because they can't agree what to do is a twisted deception and the truth is people want things to be better than they are, and there is as you pointed out tonnes of common sense ways to go about that,

Grandma steps in front of police guns to protect grandson .

newtboy says...

It's probably so they can release a body cam that doesn't show him with his hands up but has the audio of the cop screaming to "prove" they weren't up and visible when he shoots. Grandma and bystanders screwed that normal M.O. up.

Why does he keep screaming "show us your hands!" when they are already out where they can see them? Morons.

How Rage Against The Machine Topped The Christmas Charts

Cop Lying To Obstruct Newsman From Filming

Cop Lying To Obstruct Newsman From Filming

newtboy says...

With the constant flow of proof that cops lie, cheat, and steal daily, and the complicit nature of their superiors allowing them to hide the proof of their crimes, they have forced society into requiring douche reporters chasing the douche cops to capture independent proof of their criminal behavior....proof they can't erase or deny exists.
Notice how easily this douche cop comes up with multiple lies to detain the videographer, intentionally interfering with his job, to protect his cohorts ability to lie to citizens without a record, because undoubtedly all their body cams are turned off.
Also notice how, when those body cams are replaced secretly with cams that only appear to turn off, but keep recording, they consistently capture abuse of power if not outright falsification of charges, like the one just caught framing over 120 for drug possession in a single year.

Cops have made their own job tougher by insisting on being able to legally lie, and being a cadre of criminal liars who think they're above the law, and are all too often right about that thanks to apologists and those willing to turn a blind eye.

Like the police don't have enough of a tough job, now they have douche-reporter chasing them around and getting in the way.

Florida Cop Plants Drugs At Over 120 Traffic Stops in 1 Year

Payback says...

As he was under investigation, it's possible they "fixed" his body cam to not stop filming when the Malfunction Feature button gets pressed.

Also, he should be going up on drug trafficking and distribution charges, not just mere possession.

Guy had to be an idiot to plant stuff without his bodycam 'malfunctioning'.

What Happens When You Try to File a Complaint Against a Cop

Drachen_Jager says...

Yeah... body cams.

"Oh, I guess I forgot to turn it on. Ooops, my bad."

Body cams are useless if the cop can choose when to film and when not to.

BSR said:

I understand. So is this when your distrust of all cops began? Was your refused complaint tossed in the trash or is there any record at all of that day? Body cams would have been nice back then.

I was 18, barely supporting myself working at dominoes pizza. I felt sure I couldn't get a lawyer to talk to me without a video and hospital record, much less do something. I didn't have serious injuries, just some scrapes and dirty clothes, and a well earned lifelong distrust of cops.
This was the 80's when people didn't get paid big bucks for civil rights violations they could prove, and all I had was my punk kid word against an entire police force. That wasn't opening any doors.
When I couldn't even make a record of the incident, I dropped it. After all, the cop did tell me he had my address so I should just walk away and not make trouble for myself, and his superior was clearly going to have his back 100%, to the point of refusing to take my complaint, aggressively. I really just wanted the cop to be reprimanded for being so threatening even after realizing it was all his mistake, I didn't see a winnable case or dollar signs.

Sheriff Caught On Bodycam Telling Deputies To Lie

newtboy says...

Granted, intent is debatable, but it sure seemed like he was going along to me...until the other officer hinted his camera had recorded the instruction to lie.
Also he knew the crashed cop car's dash cam was on. I'm pretty sure that's why they weren't going to call it an accident, just an incident, that wouldn't require the dash cam video be viewed.

Not one contradicted the order to falsify the report on scene, and more than one said "yep" or "yes sir" when told the lie, then checked to be sure it wasn't on their camera. After that officer checked his camera and said "mine's off" it sounded like the other officer was telling him his was still recording, looking at it, covering it with his hand and saying..."when I started I hit mine for the majority of it, I hit it" instead of "mine's off too, we're good".

It sounded here like only one of the deputies filled out their report accurately....after going along with the lie on scene.

No question, not one reported the instruction to falsify charges, and none of them were charged or even officially reprimanded. The Sheriff just retired, probably with full benefits and pension.

I think the next batch of cop body cams should have fake off switches that only turn the red led off, not the recording. We could clean house with a quickness.

kEnder said:

Watched 3:59 and interpreted that differently. Debatable whether the officer intended to lie or knew the camera was on. I'm happy that officer refused to compromise the truth.

I'm with you there on the worthless off switches, let's hope information changes our world for the good.
