Ooof….Tesla …another 10% down this week. What a great strategy to go all in on one stock because you like the owner’s politics so believe his hype….not.
Down over 65% ytd. and still in accelerating freefall.
On a good note, it’s PE ratio is only double a healthy PE now, not 10 times! When it hits 70 it will be a fair deal….but likely on its way out so not a good buy. Tesla was ALWAYS a speculative bubble, as we all told you a year ago. Bubbles burst….this one has. So much for being rich, eh? You’ve lost 65% of your portfolio value and still shrinking….and somehow you’re still suggesting Tesla is a good buy. 🤦‍♂️

One might think you would stop predicting the future since you get it wrong every time….but you just won’t. I suppose attention for being wrong is still attention, so I’ve given you what you wanted.

This is wonderful. But. It's more of a eulogy for Pink Floyd than a critique or analysis of the song.

I love it. But it's the weakest in a fantastic series.

But. This and its predecessors have definitely convinced me that I want a subscription to Nebula for Christmas. A thank for a job well done. My attention is limited, but I can see myself spending a bit less time here on the sift than I have, just because the sift has been so good.

Let's see. I'm not leaving you all. At all. Let's see.

harm to kids?

what is more harmful to a human than being intellectually stunted?

what is the function of intelligence but to adapt and survive?

i.e. being coddled or cloistered from life details is far and away more destructive.

a matter of degree(s) but shielding any person from what they could understand (& handle) is the antithesis of learning.
i.e. doing more to harm than the worst spiritual debauchery that is freakishly feared here.


A CONFESSION: doubt any of this weighs on you as a person (still suspect you're an agent of chaos, or just need the attention your parents were unable give) but what kinda being would i be if i didn't TRY to help.
