Animaniacs Sneak One By The Censors

Oh come on, all those who think this is just an innocent accident, look at the look Prince gives her after she's told to finger him.
Give the writers some credit, this is great comedy!
Agreed. Whoever thinks this is innocent hasn't seen the Animaniacs. Or at least they haven't seen them since they were young.

Just look back at all the controversy that popped up over the years with Disney. The penis building in The Little mermaid, the word SEX in the dust in The Lion King. Aladdin supposedly saying "Take off your clothes" to the tiger in... well...Aladdin.
Notably, Snopes found those urban legends to be false, undetermined, and false respectively.

Animaniacs Sneak One By The Censors
The Animaniacs spend a whole lot of time emulating a style of humor that is full of 'dirty jokes'. The writers, or voice actors, know what their doing. Of course this was intentional.

Well it seems like they would need to have some kind of plausible explanation. This is sort of a stretch, though.
I don't know... I think it's a bit of a stretch to think they would be refering to the sexual act here. It's been a while since I watched this show, but I never saw anything approaching that level of risqué. It just seems too much for that show, and I have a hard time believing they would intend that meaning, knowing that the main audience for the show were kids... even if most kids would have no understanding of the reference. They would have to know that many would.
It's just too blatant for me to accept that this was their intention.

I'm just wondering if that wasn't their intended meaning. Is it possible that the meaning, as interpreted by her, is supposed to be "finger Prince for the crime," as to suggest he committed the crime?
Well it seems like they would need to have some kind of plausible explanation. This is sort of a stretch, though.

I always felt cartoons mostly went downhill since Animaniacs. Maybe I'm just getting older?
Good Idea, Bad Idea Compilation
I remember watching this show the day it came out after school. It was awesome! Animaniacs was the last great cartoon show after Tiny Toons IMO. Anyway this video doesn't have my two favorite scenes:
Good Idea: Whistle while you work.
Bad Idea: Whistle while you eat.
Good Idea: dressing up as a pirate for Halloween.
Bad Idea: dressing up as a Pinata for Halloween.
(cue little kids beating mr. skullhead with sticks =P)

upvote : shame the whiny brigade shot their mouhs off before checking there facts : "The animal rights animaniacs mean well, but they often go too far when they don't know the circumstances of filming"

Kid's TV show intros of the 80s and 90s by fissionchips (Playlist)
Oh wow! Thanks for this great playlist.
I'm not an oldie so I watched these shows around the mid 90's, but we got them later up here in northern Europe. My favorites were Ghost busters, Ducktales, Animaniacs with their spinoff's and well anything Disney.
Oh and Super Mario super show, which is strange since I hadn't played the game.
Good times!
