Biden Has A Lot To Boast About In New Covid Relief Bill
it's a phenomenon.
like not being able to detect their own scent.
similar to what Rodney Dangerfield used to say...
"i don't like loaning friends money. it's not good for them. gives them amnesia!"
same with the change of parties. prompts a men-in-black photo shoot.
You loved it when Trump printed trillions for bailouts and handouts.
Ku Klux Klan Member interview-Chris
You stupid stupid dishonest stupid man. He renounced them for decades before the photo with Biden ('08?), starting in the 40's when he left the KKK after a few years in. Trump is currently being supported by the active KKK membership and leaders as well as multiple racist hate groups. He has not renounced them or said he doesn't want their votes, instead he claims he doesn't know who David Duke is despite having discussed him at length in prior interviews and calls them good people, his tough guys. Democrats have renounced the KKK and racists publicly for decades. Derp.

If Biden is the racist, why do open racists all support Trump?
🤦♂️
Robert Byrd served as U.S. Representative for the state of West Virginia from 1953 to 1959, and as a U.S. Senator from 1959, until his death in 2010 ( here ).
Byrd was not a Grand Wizard or leader of the Klan. He was, however, a former organizer and member of the KKK. A Washington Post article reviewing Byrd’s memoir explains these years in more detail. Byrd later renounced his membership to the organization, although his early record in Congress on race and civil rights was mixed. For example, Byrd partook in a lengthy filibuster effort against the 1964 Civil Rights Act, but supported the 1968 civil rights act . A Democrat but conservative in values, Byrd decades later also criticized President Bill Clinton’s decision to push for the legalization of gay marriage.
In a 2006 CNN interview, Byrd expressed regret for the filibuster and called his time in the Klan the greatest mistake of his life.
In 2005, Byrd commented on his past membership of the Klan in his memoir and in an interview with the Washington Post said, "I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times … and I don't mind apologizing over and over again. I can't erase what happened."
During the 2008 presidential race, Byrd endorsed Barack Obama.
At the time of his death, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a leading civil rights organization formed in 1909 for the advancement of racial equality and elimination of racial discrimination, issued a statement mourning his passing. The NAACP’s President and CEO remarked: "Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation. Senator Byrd went from being an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country”. ( bit.ly/33hn5V3 ) Then-President Obama eulogized Byrd.

McConnell, the Republican Senate leader, also spoke at Byrd’s memorial service — and other Republicans issued statements remembering Byrd. Texas Sen. John Cornyn said that Byrd was “a tireless public servant” and that the “Senate has lost a great champion, he will be missed greatly.”
Now go scourge yourself until I tell you to stop, you liar and fool. Trump made you look stupid again with another misrepresentation you regurgitated.
And JOE BIDEN PRAISES FORMER KKK LEADER ROBERT BYRD AS A ‘MENTOR’
..
Full Frontal - We Need to Talk About Stephen Miller
Bob, I must congratulate you. Your caricature of gullible republicans is spot on.
I guess Obama is going down for being an illegal immigrant from Kenya, right? Hillary for Benghazi, and all federal law enforcement for......having some agents who don't like or respect orange Kanye, just like every Republican senator and representative just months earlier. I guess you're just lucky that wasn't Obama's move, or they would have released all their damming info about Trump and not implicated Clinton last minute, but somehow now that they're investigating Trump they're all deep state democrats (that threw an election to elect Trump).
You cannot be that dumb, the fact you remember to breathe is proof you have too much intelligence to believe such flipflopping theories that require amnesia of yesterday to believe today's new utter bullshit story.
It's hilariously transparent that, according to Trump, the FBI, CIA, and NSA are suddenly republican enemies (so much for being the law and order party, huh?) and Putin is your friend. Reagan would be so proud.
Not me.
I have a much broader scope than immigrants.
Obama, Hillary, and top FBI, CIA all going down.
Muller got nothing,
Trump holding all the cards.
Photo realism in video games
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of photorealistic / realistic-behaving games as he describes and which actually work, but I don't know how many current genres / game styles would really "feel right" if presented that way. I don't think I'd want to play an especially violent game that looked fully real, while cartoony or otherwise clearly non-real I'm totally down with. Sports might be interesting, but doesn't really seem a necessary improvement. Survival horror would seem to be a good fit - a fully realistic-feeling presentation of something like Silent Hill or Amnesia has a certain sick appeal. Perhaps particularly in VR. Ideally in The Void.

Trump Transforms for the General Election: A Closer Look
The pivots strike me as ... weird. It's strange how someone can say something one day and people get behind him and believe that thing and then say the complete opposite the next day and people still get behind him and believe that new thing. Like... I'll never forget the Trump statement stating Mexicans are rapists or that he insulted a decorated war veteran who criticized him (McCain) by saying that he's a loser because he got captured. These things will forever cloud my perception of who this man is. But some don't seem to have that same 'type' of memory...
And now for his policies to shift so dramatically and for people to just continue to support him... It's... weird. Like there's this collective, willful amnesia he's tapped into and is taking advantage of.

Thanks, and yes
British music has a long tradition of political commentary in music, like Amnesia about the sense of betrayal that Labour supporters felt with Tony Blair's New Labour:
With the catchy chorus: Do you suffer from long term memory loss? I don't remember. Also "The good ship lifestyle" - https://youtu.be/Uu8gO8d4aT8 and their version of Bella Ciao https://youtu.be/oSpqj3V0s2E
And then, of course, there's Billy Bragg.

Meshuggah
Few metal bands survive for 25 consecutive years, and even fewer retain a reputation for consistency over such a long period the way Meshuggah have. We already knew that the Swedish djent progenitors were slotted to play this year's edition of Bonnaroo in June, filling the bad-trip-inducement slot that Swans occupied last year. Unsurprisingly, they've also announced a short North American tour built around that date and their ensuing appearance at Quebec's Amnesia Rock Fest. The tour is being billed as a 25th-anniversary celebration for the band, and it also includes Between the Buried & Me on its non-festival dates. Meshuggah are also holding a poll in which fans can help the band decide what their set list will include by voting for one song from each album in their catalog.
The tour will hit NYC on 6/21 at Best Buy Theater. Tickets for that show haven't gone on sale yet, but keep an eye out. In the meantime, enjoy a live video (of mosh action, natch) from Meshuggah's last NYC appearance and check out the full set of dates below...

I can't play Amnesia. Need to try Outlast.
Clueless Gamer: PC Horror Game Edition
Amnesia is a scary game, but it's pretty slow paced. I could see Conan not having time to get to that point in a short Clueless Gamer review.
