Who The Frack Speeddraws in MS-Paint????
That's not what speed drawing or speed painting are supposed to mean. They're supposed to be quickly done (10-15 minutes), usually to practice a certain technique without worrying about all the other details that would normally go into the final product.
You might do a speed painting to practice your lighting/shadowing technique or your coloring or basic anatomy.
This is a speed painting. This and this are speed drawings. The video above took 5.5 hours... it's a regular drawing.

Time-lapse =/= speeddraw
Speeddraw = drawing in one sitting
Impressive speed painting of Megan Fox
It's annoying that the meaning of "speed painting" has been lost due to the celebration of ignorance that is youtube, but it's even worse that the artists themselves go along with it. This is not a speed painting; it's a timelapse.

Wednesday Addams- Speedpainting
I don't get how this is speed-painting. Speed-painting is the art of painting a picture really really quickly. This is a video of someone painting (in graphics software) at normal speed that's been sped up in post production, right? The end result is reasonable, but it's not speed painting.
Wednesday Addams- Speedpainting
Nothing personal. I just have a burning hatred for speed painting videos.
The Dark Knight - Joker Speed Painting
Yeah, this isn't speed painting, this is ordinary digital painting. Even the artist seems ignorant of this fact. Ugh.
The Dark Knight - Joker Speed Painting
I don't get why people call this kind of thing speed painting. He's painting at normal speed; it's just the film that's sped up. It's a good picture, mind!
Live Speed Painting Ray Charles
This is the only one I could find...

Here is the info off of http://www.speed-painting.com
"It took me between 5 and 6 hours to do it, all in Photoshop, in 15 layers
for sketches, colors, textures, shadows and background. This drawing
was made with a Digital Tablet, captured from the monitor in real-time
and it was accelerated 3000 x. The music is from the soundtrack of Spiderman by Danny Elfman."

that's pretty impressive. is there any indication of how long it actually took? Obviously it is sped up, but I wonder how much.
