The Bose Suspension In Action

crotchflame says...

Oooo...cool. I work at Bose - cool to see the suspension system in the top 15.

And you guys are right, the hop is built into the control system for the suspension system. It's just a little subroutine activated by a switch in the dash. As far as I know, that is. The project was shut down long before I started at the company.

I currently own the rights to posting a series of vine shorts in a compilation on YouTube.

I'm also in talks with the owner of Russian Dash Cam compilations.

We're gonna make a MINT.

I lose. I stopped watching this racist bollocks about 1 minute in. I even skipped to the end to see if there would actually be a point, but nope, it's just more racism with an added dash of misogyny and right wing assholery for extra spice.

This is fucking *terrible.

Patton Oswalt explains My Little Pony

SDGundamX says...

The "Friendship is Magic" series is really well done. It's the brainchild of Lauren Faust, who was a writer and co-developer (with her husband) of the popular "Powerpuff Girls" series. The show manages to provide lots of moral lessons (like how to constructively deal with major disappointments, self-esteem issues, conflict with friends, etc.) that are directly relevant to young girls without ever becoming preachy. It's one of those shows that occasionally contains pop-culture references that may fly over the head of your child but will make you as a parent chuckle. My 4-year old daughter loves it--she specifically requested a Rainbow Dash plush for Christmas and we were happy to give it to her because we really appreciate the care that goes into the cartoon to help young girls develop positive self-images.

Frankly, there's lots of good quality animations for kids these days that are enjoyable for adults to watch as well. We love to watch Peppa Pig, Octonauts, Paw Patrol, Doc McStuffins--even Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse (which contains a surprising number of Star Wars references).

I expect that I'm a potential-Brony. Pre-brony? I don't know. All I do know is that I haven't had time to watch it yet, but every single thing I see and hear about this show virtually guarantees I'll be a fan once I do. They nailed a sweet spot with the art and animation, and that ridiculously saccharine-sweet tone is just the right kind of self-parody and legitimate cuteness that only comes along once in a while.

My Little Pony: the gateway drug to being a full-blown Furry. Just one look at Rainbow Dash and the next thing you know you're buying a fur suit and jerking it to big-titted vixens.

Mmmm . . . big-titted vixens . . .

I'll, uh, be in my bunk.

Dashcam Video of Chicago Law Enforcement Shooting Teen

newtboy says...

Clearly, from the article, not a single one, anywhere in the department, from top to bottom, "outed" this murderer, and instead they covered it up, destroyed evidence, fabricated a story and repeated the line 'he was unfortunately killed by a single gunshot to the chest' all the way up. Not one 'good cop' to be found. As I see it, anyone in the department who's hands touched this are co-conspirators after the fact, and need to be charged themselves to the fullest extent of the law. It's only because of complicity of others that cops think, correctly, that they can get away with murdering citizens and claiming self defense. That makes them as much of the problem as the murderers.
Prosecute them all...right up to and including the chief...since they all knew the self defense, single shot story was BS (they had this video) but they continued to shield him by repeating it publicly and in official legal documents.

EDIT: It should be noted that without a complaining witness coming forward, (one that was forcibly removed from the scene and NEVER interviewed, just like every other civilian witness) and without the lucky happenstance that they didn't erase the dash cam footage like they did to other footage, for example the security camera footage from nearby restaurants, there would NEVER be charges for this 'officer', since his entire force covered up the crime.

One more incident of cops being unbelievable douchebags, and other cops allowing them to get away with it. Sickening how often this kind of thing is caught on tape, meaning it happens 10 times more often than we see at least.
Glad he's on leave at least, but a paid vacation does not really seem the appropriate outcome, here's hoping he's fired after the 'investigation', but I doubt it.
Good thing his angry threat to 'confiscate the video' was more hot air.
Crappy that even the reasonable officer tells him clearly "the longer you stay here, the more trouble you're going to get into", implying 'because the detective will make more trouble for you, he's lost it', and doesn't tell the detective that jumping out of your unmarked car and threatening to shoot someone in the head and beat them to a pulp is out of order.
If this was an 'open carry' guy who 'stood his ground', he could have shot that cop with no (legal) consequence.
Damn it, I'm going to have to get a dash cam just to protect myself from outrageous 'authority figures' now.

Red Neck trucker says NO to this blonde trying to merge...

Retroboy says...

This would be the law where I live as you do not have the right of way when crossing a dashed line and have to yield to the truck that's already there. She broke the law first and that's what led directly to the accident.

That being said, if the guy in the pick-up was talking on his mobile phone without using a "handless" device such as speaker mode, he's also breaking it so perhaps then it becomes 50/50. Those no-phone types of laws are becoming more and more common.

IMO, driver merging is at fault, changing lanes when unsafe to do so. When you are changing lanes, it's your job to make sure their is room and time to do so, if you are being overtaken by the person already in the lane, you wait.

TransAsia crash caught by two dash cams

Nobody has sifted ANY video of this yet???
I don't think it's snuff, if it is, I'm sorry, but I couldn't find anything on here...

Video has both cars' dash cams.

Car 1 got clipped by the wing.

Later on even has drone footage of survivors.
