Michelle Malkin, the same person who went berserk because of the allegation that a scarf Rachel Ray wore in an ad, looked a bit like a kaffiyah when it didn't.

Chris must have been pissed by this Michelle quote “We knew Chris Matthews had no shame. Now we also know the king of TV ghouls has no souls.”

And ftr, I'm not agreeing with the Orly? kid up there...but I spoke at length with a California policeman who unequivocally stated that Rodney King was the most important issue (of 90's) and changed law enforcement forever. As a policeman you lost many rights you once had to control berserk criminals.

I've watched a few episodes on Cartoon Network and watched the 1st DVD through blockbuster online, but Vol. 2-4 are never available, which sucks. I like what I've seen so far. Interesting that there is a live action version, i'll have to check that out.

Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Ninja Scroll (the movie, not the series) are a few of my favorites.

This deserves a *wtf. The press is going to go berserk over their lack of access.

Contrast this situation with the failed 9/11 flight where the passengers decided to do something. Yeah i know different situation, different time line.
And yeah i know, easy to say from the safety of one's living room, but having been in a couple adrenaline filled situations where a stranger was going berserk in a public place, all it takes is for 1 person to fight back and make a decision to not be a victim.


The bystander effect doesn't apply here. People at the front of the bus didn't know what was going on, people at the back of the bus just saw someone getting stabbed to death and panic'd. Nobody was sitting there watching as it happened, they were getting the fuck off the bus.

It's not cowardice to run away when you don't know what's going on, it's just stupid to get yourself killed for nothing.

By the time anybody would have been able to intervene the guy was probably already dead, and nobody would have been able to do anything for him. The only SENSIBLE thing to do at that point was to keep the assailant locked up in the bus until proper authorities arrived.

Wise man, that berserk office worker. There's only one way to end this scourge: zero tolerance.

I can't believe the person who added music chose that horrible song. "Berserker" (from the Clerks soundtrack) would have worked so much better.

i feel that kind of berserk rage twice a day, every day, on the morning and evening commute.

Great song, great music group, great reference to Berserk, but still one of the most disappointing endings to an anime series ever.

Uh... so how exactly are a bunch of skinny preppy boys a match for a muscular badass with obvious anger issues? It's not as though Vallely took on a bunch of ninjas or something.

They're labeled "jocks" but unless they're on the tennis team, I don't see what's necessarily "jock" about them. Vallely looks like he has at least 5 to 10 pounds on each of them.

Nevertheless, I like his "berserker" approach to confronting a situation where he's at a numerical disadvantage. I don't know how many of you have been in similar situations but, unless you have some sort of martial arts training, Vallely's tactic is a decent way of preventing a possible beatdown.


Of course, ignoring idiots who call you names works a lot better.
