hmm. not sure if it's a lack of attention here, so much. this just sifted pretty quickly, for instance.
lately, the politics vibe hasn't seemed so much pro-Obama, as it's been anti-McCain.
I hear ya blankfist. Change kool-aid seems a popular drink these days.
I think ya answered your own question, blankfist. The fact that he's dropped out has definitely taken the edge off his support.
The better question is why LibertarianSift hasn't embraced Barr. My handful of Barr videos have all pqueued.
Really, I've noticed a very sharp decline in interest in Presidential politics videos after the Democratic primary ended.
Pro-Obama stuff doesn't get votes, but anti-McCain stuff sifts sometimes, but it's anemic compared to the way it used to be.
I think a lot of people have tuned out the election08 channel for the time being, since a lot of people seem to have already made up their minds.
I guess people weren't buying into the person as much as into the message. Paul represented the most intelligent candidate with a coherent radical course change plan. Personally, I'm sorry that Paul got so few votes and was forced to drop out (btw, what's he doing with all the money he collected?). He was one of the very few politicians that can get your imagination pumping.
But now, he's back to "merely" being one of a hundred, most of those 99 others are just plain normal politicians, who are peering at their poll numbers and trying to retain as much power with as little fuss as possible. Paul won't be able to really change much in that position. Thus, he got less interesting.
